    This cracked me up!
I was also considering cracking a joke about it. I do like vaseline, though.

A friend with a twisted and sick taste pallet actually. Strange in some parts of the World the things people/cultures drink and eat are so, well, weird to other parts of the World. They came back and was like "Try" this, it's a big thing in Ghana... While I was confused to how any living thing could drink such a thing.

I know once at uni I drank a lot of red wine and got sleep paralysis that night, on top of extremely vivid dreams like a gigantic cow with bells chasing me when i walked backwards... :wtf:

I don't really smoke/take weed much but when I do now and then it doesn't seem to have the creative effect many people claim it does. Just makes me tired, no matter what strain it is.

Wine has a similar effect on me as it does to you. More dark. I guess it could aid a certain type of sound at night when producing.

Vodka just seems like a drink to get drunk off. I can't enjoy it.

Whisky seems to be my safe haven. Calm, don't really get drunk at all, and gets ideas flowing more freely at times.

Beer, is just beer. Doesn't have a huge effect, but does loosen me up. Adds a 'social' aura to a room when with other people i'm working with too.

It's strange how different types of drinks/substances can have such an effect on a person's mind and creativity overall.
But after all of that, being sober seems to work just fine. At night, I think it's just welcoming to have a drink to accompany me while I create. :grooves:

Usually water or some energy drinks. Sometimes if I get a bit hungry, a piece of cake and a glass of milk.

Damn, pot has a rather interesting effect on me then as I do become creative and interested in making sounds, and also very aroused. My wife knows that best... when we smoke pot it's "hammer time"! :rofl:We bang like rabbits even though she's 41 and I'm 45.

p.s. but pot affects her similar to you guys, she also likes to go to sleep as soon as we're finished. And I go make music then. That's what I call perfect relationship!

My wife would have to divorce me if I used Viagra, my friend... I'm too horny anyway. Pot or no pot. Thankfully, she's certainly not a nun, too. :winker:

    Anyone here ever tried Kava?
    It's basically liquid marijuanna.
And the national drink of the Fiji Islands. Enjoyed by the country's elected officials when hosting national dignitaries, no less.

Water or a good black/green tea for me. The tea with honey, Omega-3, B vitamins, Ginseng and on occasion MDMA. Rarer occasions: LSD.

Like many of you, I'm a huge fan of the kind bud whilst composing, but for a drink, it used to be coffee … lots and lots of coffee. Unfortunately, I completely wrecked my stomach a few years back and had to give it up (it was almost as bad as quitting smoking) after a year of chasing java with about half a bottle of Pepcids. Thankfully, I was able to take a page from the Brits and started drinking tea: either P&G or (my favorite) Builder's Choice. That said, I still sneak a Starbuck's every once in a while.

I'm not a coffee drinker... but it seems coffee is something magical that everyone loves. Should I be getting myself into this dark substance? hmmmmmm Tea and Water usually cut it for me.

@Pinkman: That little hole is the mouthpiece. These coffee cup bowls don't have "carbs".
My brother has the exact same coffee cup bowl except that his is green. :)

Absinthe the drink that supposedly makes crazy. Absinthe that was in the 18th century contained THC, the psychotropic substance the same as cannabis. It caused hallucinations its consumers and was therefore forbidden, considered a drug.
Clandestinely manufactured since the ban, it was sold under the counter for a long time.
Absinthe found today in France by the liqueur absinthe is a modified with an almost non-existent levels of THC. We still find the true unmodified and legal absinthe in Switzerland.
