Anybody else getting this? Tried running it from within Ableton, Studio One and Sonar and keeps crashing. Also tried running the NyrvPluginScanner_x64.exe directly with nothing else running. Keep getting the "stopped working" prompt on random and different VSTs every time. I've also tried running as admin and in compatability mode for Windows 8 and 7.

Well annoying cos I like the look of this in terms of saving custom strips and it uses way less CPU than loading the VSTs directly as inserts into your DAW.

 

I've updated to the 1.4.0.0 version and this is still happening. Anybody else getting issues with the plugin scanner constantly crashing?

I wanna use this so badly but not being able to have all my plugins accessible in Agent makes that kind fo difficult!

 

I noticed 1-2 other scenarios- where you can cause it to crash your complete DAW.

When you sent a ticket to Nyrv support, what did they say? I'm asking because posting in a forum is NOT the way to get the issue solved as we are not having the same issue you are. Jeff at Nyrv is the person to discuss this with, best of luck tracking down the issue with your system.

 

I have the same issue it seems that they are aware about this and still cope to solve this issue. NYRV answered already in this tread:

You may need to restart the scanning process a few times for it to complete. We have not achieved 100% compatibility with every plugin out there but you will probably find that it is actually loaded when you go back into AGENT after scanning has finished.
