Hi .When I use the native synth sounds,all settings are changed normally(velocity and everything else works).
But when I connect it to the PC in the role of a MIDI keyboard that only works a wheel modulation wheel pitch bend and transpose from the menu.
Try to change velocity and other parameters - the result is zero. With what it can be connected?
Maybe in PC you need to do something? I use one MIDI cable from Midi out of synth into the input of the PC midi in . Do you need a second cable to connect Midi out from PC to midi in of the synth?Or maybe you need something to enable in the synth?

 

You should preferably 'plug' your 'Kawai K1' this way, I mean, a cable from 'MIDI Out' to the 'MIDI In' of your 'MIDI Interface' (--> your PC), then another cable from your 'MIDI Interface' ('MIDI Out') to the 'MIDI In' of your 'Kawai K1'.
This way, you'll be able to send 'MIDI' data to your PC (via your 'MIDI Interface'), then also receive 'MIDI Data' from your PC (and mainly from the Software you're using to make all your 'MIDI' stuff).
Your 'Kawai K1' should also include some internal settings to be able to set it for that particular configuration (e.g. something like to set your 'Kawai K1' as 'Master', or 'Slave', and any other settings for communicate 'MIDI Data' between both parts).

ADDED AFTERWARDS :

Take a look at the 'Owner's Manual' of your 'Kawai K1', and particularly to the pages 42, 43 & 44, which are related to the 'MIDI Transmission' and 'MIDI Reception' of 'MIDI Parameters/Messages/Data' and their corresponding settings, which some must to be set to 'ON', while others must to be set to 'OFF' depending the desire action to get from these options.
