saint: the new popout ad on audiosex.info is not very nice.
please rethink the use of this kind of ad.
    it slows things down unnecessarily.

    thanks

Use AdBlock Plus and you're done.

You can always disable it later (in case the popout is not anymore, or you want to click some ads to contribute to the maintenance of the site/forum).

Firefox with its addons is great!!

Here are the addons I use for protection:

    https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
    https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/adblock-plus-pop-up-addon/
    https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/betterprivacy/
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/browserprotect/
    https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/ghostery/

    and

    https://addons.mozilla.org/nl/firefox/addon/flashblock/

The last addon blocks flash but many websites need it (youtube, soundcloud,...), so sometimes you have to disable it but it makes surfing much faster.

And of course the mighty sandboxie, but this is no add on:

don't confuse the Slider with a PopUp window.

I hate ads myself, and i'm trying my best not to add a popup on AudioZ, so nothing would hurt your experience.

i Don't really understand what is so ban about the slider.
could you make a screenshot of AudioZ with the slider AD block?

this is how i see it:

I've had to zoom out to get it. For some reason zooming out doesn't show the recent posts, but in normal zoom they are there.

i appreciate very much you avoid popups, but the slider you recently added is nearly the same annoying as a popup, at least on my slow computer. best would be a small box with some simple hyperlinks to your sponsors. so we click on if we feel like supporting you:)
    (wishful thinking).
did i get it right, you want a screenshot of audioz.info with adblock active? the slider is simply gone:)

Well, let's be clear here; If saint needs to put ads on the site to mantain it, wich is totally normal cause he on his own runs the site and this forum, come on, it's not that annoying...
Now if the ads have scripts that hijack our browsers is another thing, wich is not this case...

I mean, you don't call every TV channel because the annoying ads and stuff...

hey miller, i totally agree with you. and if i had a screen as big as the one posted by saint, i could easily live with it. but on my tiny little 9 inch, the ad covers up a third of the relevant information. that fact let the intension rise inside me to complain. which on the other hand brought you on the plan, leading me to adblock and the problem simply dissolved to non existant.
    thanks again
regarding the tv comparison, i don't register it, because we both know it's nonsense
