Woah, very specific! I'll try it!

I've been messing with slightly side-chaining the pads triggered by the vocals and I've noticed it helps with separating the mids like your describing :like:

Ill try working with the drum bus  Thanks for the encouragement!

I liked the song a lot more than I thought I would.. I think that you have an interesting melody.. the trance gate and the other interesting arpeggios make some good rhythms..

familiar but not cliche style, good synth sound selection, interesting arrangement, good vocal direction.. not too far from commercial quality as far as a complete production

if there are a few things i would recommend

i think that the introduction could use a bit more something exciting. I actually was quite surprised how good everything after the intro sounded, given the intro as a first introduction to the song..

try to enunciate a bit more in certain parts. the song is chill, but i feel some parts are a bit difficult to make out lyrically, especially with the use of alliteration.. come on baby rock my.. love from above... also , a bit less pitch drift i think would make the harmony stand out a bit more.

maybe one more hook, like a rap section, or a spoken word, or instrumental section to contrast with the other cool parts

it's good and quality music ! I think you just take this and keep going with it until it blows your mind and all your friends when they listen to it...!!
I've no doubt this could be a really 'pro quality' and cool song

    :winker:
