I kinda like it. I like the vocoding.

 

What do you use for vocoding ?

I love your sounds ! My point is that you should do covers but with your own personal "sounds", I mean change some melodies, add sounds, delete some overs etc... You know ? lol I think there's a simple word, I would use "cover" of course but it would be misleading ! lol


Anyway it's a REAL challenge to do the way you did ! The sounds are really close, you probably know synths pretty well !!!!

I have used these programs to make this number
REASON 5.0
youtube video time line 2:16 min snaredrum like sound is a (voicesound and a zap sound and it is the modulator) and a (saw from subtractor and it is the carrier) running through bv512 vocoder in reason
0:00 sinsus/res start sound is done with malstrøm filter/res
0:05 sweep bass sound is a malstrøm also
0:06 the fast woodpecker like sound is made by subtractor with a square waveform and some filter/res and when some fast lfo to the
filter
0:07 the electric metallic sound is a malstrøm
0:08 fm telefon sound like is done with thor
0:38 chord filter sweep made by subtractor
drums take from the sample cd Robot and Computers

CUBASE 5.0
0:21 bassline is a arturia minimoog v and sub from reason subtractor
0:46 lead sound is also a arturia minimoog v
and me singing through virsyn matrix vocoder in cubase
