Sad stuff right there. But it was better at age 74 than age 24. At least he isn't in pain anymore. He is an angel now. Rest In Peace. :(

Rumble In The Jungle <------ I watched that fight in our very modern ITT colour TV in 74 - Strange fight indeed!

Cassius Marcellus Clay jr. alias Muhammed Ali was a great boxer!

    May he R.I.P!

Man, can 2016 just chill with the celebrity deaths, already? Damn it's worse than 2009 when we lost Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Billy Mays. :(

  12. RIP Brother, you will always be The Greatest.

This man has been in my consciousness for a very long time. The sports world has never, nor ever will, seen the likes of this very special figure again (in my opinion). By the way, even though "74" is not young (my mother is in her 90's), if it were not for that insidious disease he battled for decades, undoubtedly, he would have lived much longer. My oldest sister has Parkinson's, so I am all too familiar with the deleterious affects it has on a person. I wish the so-called "Millenials" could have seen Ali in his boxing and political prime; they too would be just as impressed with his charisma and down-to-earth persona. My condolences go out to his entire family. The world just got a bit darker with his passing.
