Hi guys
I just want draw the attention that since the forum updates are not listed on Audioz's feed main page, it seems that some sections of Audiosex are having less traffic.
This is a personal appreciation.
I'm not denying that is handy to see the list of the 15 recent posts, but personally I tend to evaluate the posts by the images and feedbacks, or maybe by my needs, while I still think that the link between the forum and Audioz was more valuable.
I tend to think as that was a kind of organic integration of information plus uploads. But now I find that this link is sort of lost, becoming independent sections.
Has anyone given a thought to it? Or it doesn't matter because you visit the forum a lot any ways.

In fact, I definitely prefer the forum feed instead of the last 15 AZ posts...

 

Yeah....I miss the feed, as well.

Now that it is gone, I find myself not coming over here as much as I used to.

 

I like how it shows the last posts on AudioZ, but I do miss the forum feed also..

I agree.

There is a "View New Content" link on this site but I spent 20mins trying to find it! Its towards the top right side and is very subdued looking.

Reason it was scrapped is cos of all the morons rolling in here sayin "PLZ I need teh Cr@ck 4 teh Coobaze 6 PLZPLZPLZ!1!!!!"

SAINT should have the rules displayed in MASSIVE font when users wanna register here, and tick-the-box to proceed so they can't miss it. No excuses then... they fuck up, they get banned *yes*

I agree with Paus. I'm somewhat tired of those who register in the forum and the first thing they do is asks for cracks, links, reuploads, and so on...

On the other hand it's quite useful to have Audiosex more secret, not directly exposed to the public. So now both are separated, going own ways.

AudioZ is more exposed - but the tones are sometimes rude... seems that people come in to rant or even insult, starting (phantom) wars against Teams or computer operating systems!! Kinda paranoid!!!

What a pity, there's no moderation to cut all that garbage away!

I don't miss it since I come directly here and don't usually check the main site as much.

But having the feed on main page had some benefits, people posting their music in here would get a lot more views.

 

The "Recent Posts" box is quite useful. *yes*
Obviously there's a space problem - like on every site.
Why not decrease for example the font size in it?
Perhaps shrinking the image sizes and content of the first (preview) post would help too....

Nevertheless - AudioZ is actually the best Audio-Forum of the world.

Font size/colour coding... divisions...
it would be useful the use of some graphic tricks to fit the two feeds,
maybe reducing the uploads to 10 entries, and reserve 10 links for AudioSex using some kind of division
(forcing the widget look by using a zebra colour scheme or so)
Other option could be the Js scrolling feed, a vertical scrolling feed in columns of 5
Maybe together we could figure out how to do that!

Mhhh... makes me think. I find all you've said makes sense. But what about placing BOTH widgets (Newest Posts + New/Active AudioSex Threads), but in a little or tiny font (using maybe a very visible colour in order to compensate for its size)?. That's how we'd have the best of both worlds... without compromising the available space in the main page.

And yes, many people seem not to understand the way AZ works...

Has anyone noticed a popup ad on the bottom left of Audioz cpxinteractive ? I'm on mac using safari & firefox and its showing up on both browsers. I have cleaned it up several times on my end but it keeps coming back up.

Anyways, nice implementation on AudioZ now on the front page. Click-to-reveal keeps things clean and tidy.

Right now its not working right (FATAL ERROR) but Im sure its just a soon-to-be-resolved niggle.....

Yes, I saw the toggle with the AudioSex feed...That's cool.
I don't get a girl, I get any kind of advertising on the left hand....kinda of traffic waster
because it slows down my scrolling to the posts.
