This is getting close to what been apparent to me for some time: that the technology exists for all rights/royalty information to be encoded in a digital file, and thereby have royalties reported and paid immediately; that it should also be possible for rights-holders to control where and how the file appears on the Internet, even to withdraw it from the Internet entirely. All information such as authorship, publishing, and the rightsholders and shares of samples used or the works from which the composition or recording had been derived, could be included in the file (and thereby be immediately reported and paid.

Furthermore, the Copyright Office should be the "nodal point" at which not only copyright is registered, but where also suchly-encoded digital files would be registered – though the Copyright Office would have to be greatly overhauled to accommodate such traffic of digital files, and it would have to lower its submission fees to a fraction of what it arrogates to charge presently.

 

Not that it really matters but it looks like she's already with someone else and have a child from him...

these solutions seem to exist as technologically perfectly feasible, might also bring all the still possibly existing power back to source, back to all the creators of all such beautiful content, not to mention better control over all the prevailing monetary issues.

tomorrow might become felt like some better future again.
