It doesn't look so bad, but the price...

I swear this thing is Nexus3. I just bought it. Same specs as Nexus2, minus the copy protection.
1100 presets, 6GB sound, and the UI elements, are all something Nexus2 and Lethal have in common.
Honestly, I'm loving this thing. Very neat.
The price is about right, IMHO.

WHY are Romplers getting called synth's??

    Seriously now.

An app that has no oscillators,
    has
No way at all for the user to 'synthesize' sound from scratch.

    Cannot be called a synthesizer.

I do not care how glossy it sounds, nor do I care what it looks like, I would never pay such big dollars for Rompler.

For that money, I can buy any U-he synth VST synth, and own that license to be put on as many computers as I want for eternity.

Anyway, if you are just looking for preset sounds to play I am sure it is fine, just incredibly overpriced, and misleadingly marketed.

    1. What are the minimum system requirements for Lethal?

    PC:

Pentium 2.0 GHz processor or equivalent or better

    4GB RAM or more

    1024 x 768 display or higher

    Windows 7/8/8.1/10

5GB disk space - more for expansion packs

Am I wrong in thinking it would be based on very old technology, if it caters for a Pentium Processor seeing as the Pentium Chip has not been in production for quite a few years.

Yeah just a snazzy lookin rompler not of much interest to me,ive nexus but never run it..
I do think however that in light of the fact that weve all heard nexus patches for yonks now in many of the bigger edm releases,
And lets face it "were bored of the sound in general right"
So to that end it may at least give those who do use a rompler a different source instead of the tired ol sound we all know, although a slightly unimaginative release in Inmho....

I have it. I've been using it lately. Honestly, it's okay, but it's not great. I'd recommend getting something like Nexus2 if you want something like that. Or better yet, just use Spire. Spire is a synth & it's an amazing one.

Hey guys, I'm curious. What is the style of music that starts at 1:21 in this video?

I can't pinpoint it, it's been driving me a bit crazy.

Ahaa, so that's melbourne bounce. I keep seeing all these sample packs for it and didn't know what it was.

It kind of caught my ear though for whatever reason. It's definitely not the kind of music I'd listen to myself but I reckon it's pretty good for raves. Anyway, thanks for letting me know!

Have to say I'm unimpressed with this. I bought it as I thought it was some kind of Nexus clone plus I got it for the Aussie dollar price. The sounds are pretty uninspiring and a lot of them seem to be variations on the same thing i.e. make a saw pad as a preset, change the filter slightly and call it a new preset. Rinse and repeat so you end up with 10 presets all sounding virtually the same.

The expansion packs bear little relation to their name mainly being just a collection of the same old pianos, pads, strings repackaged. One bank was nothing more than some very low level clicks which had no use at all.

Shame really because it looked promising.

Better than Nexus 2, and cheaper. A group buy?
