dubstep track made a couple of years ago on my laptop,in a very crowded and noisy street of Los Angeles at night.

Nice drums and twisted per/fx at the start.

Bass is a bit low in the mix...? Im just listening on PC speakers right now... could be that.

I love the ring-mod sounding synth that sits subtly in the mix.

    2:00 BANGIN drums.

Vox are pretty nice when it has the slapback delay. Maybe another take that is bit-crushed and more "shouty" layered on top would help the chorus really rip. Im thinkin Prodigy here.

3:45 another nice section here *yes*

Was gonna say the "Listen to the speakers go" gets repetitive at 4:58 but it ends straight after, good job with the arrangement here.

I like it a lot, the vocals definitely need MOAR for the chorus and Ive covered the bass already. Other than that, great job.

    thankx.
to be honest,at the time dubstep, was more like 2 step snare and dance kick.and a new wordl for mixing elements.now is more bass and distorted kicks.
the bass just pops up,in few segments.wobble bass, not heavy bass.
drums, noise, samples and synth are the main key here.also live vocals and backgrounds, all recorded in a live situation via iphone.
i wanted to capture the environment the most.that chaotic night.
but i agree with you,if i wanted to do a straight dubstep track, than bass, and distortion would be perfect to make the track sound heavy and more refined.
