    I know someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they are Taiko drums.

    These are Ensemble toms.Try Session drums for kontakt available on our sister site.Epic toms layered with Dhol ensemble could give you a similar sound with a little tweaking.

    Yes.Master sessions by Heavyocity should do the trick for you according to the first songs you posted.Available on sister site.Listen to some of the demos before you download ,to see if it is what you want..Zack Hemsey' Finding home 'has Taikos and a Timpani layer.Zack Hemsey Vengeance has Toms not Taikos.You can find all you need with Master Sessions and with Taikos 2 from Nine Volt. :wink:

    No idea about the basses but you could try omnisphere 2 and Trillian fron spectrasonics available you know where :winker:

    Try using some Overdrive,Distortion and Bitcrusher on your drums and bass to get that hard gritty sound.
