    Hi guys,

Today i got the Xfer.Records.SerumFX.v1.0.9.b6.and.Serum.1.0.9.b9.MacOSX-PiTcHsHiFTeR from audioz.info. When i start up Serum in Logic 9, it keeps asking to select the folder named Serum Presets. The download didn't contain a folder like that, so i got some presets elsewhere and named that folder 'Serum Presets'. Still doesn't work. Anyone who can help me out? Cheers.

    Hi Thomasss93,

I think you need the original 1.068 installer as this creates those folders, then do the latest update.
I don't have either, but maybe someone on here might be able to help you out.

    Best wishes

    Daisy:wink:

I had a similar issue with the previous update. My only way around it was to completely reinstall from version 1.0'and make sure that I wasn't allowing Serum any communication. My ongoing problem with Mac version is that every time I start up I have to put the password in (which thankfully still works) but at least the Presets folder is still there. I haven't had a chance to install these latest updates and see if my reoccurring password request has dissapeared

You need the original 1.0 installer it creates the factory sounds folder with samples then you can update

The latest version fixed the serial being asked for every time .

    Hi Thomasss93

the preset folder should be here (Mac) /Library/Audio/Presets/Xfer Records/
then... search for the file: (OSX) ~/Library/Preferences/Serum.cfg
edit that file with the editor, in the bottom line between [xxx] you'll find the location of Preset-Folder,
    customize it.
    Restart your Daw and check...

I downloaded the Demo from Website, installed it, then I installed the audio-z version.
Then i deleted the demo.dll and also the demo-serum.cfg
    Then modifid the Serum.cfg
    as above.
It worked, plus I had the factory presets...
