I installed Reaper here on my computer, but I can't open the keygen. *It opens in my mother's computer, but not on mine.

Many meanings i believe
Different things to different people I guess.

If meant to signify a name can be either. For example in Scottish it's a boys name whereas Leanne is a girls.

Depends where you live i suppose or whether it's even intended on denoting a persons name
Also a verb that denotes "to be or move in a sloping position."
Noun as well I believe.

How about "One Reason" is that a Boy's name where your from?

For the OP what about a portable installation on a flash drive or patching on your moms computer might work if all else fails.

Deffo buy this one tho if u at all able as its a great price and they deserve the support tho am not here to preach.

Most likely something to do with compatability mode/Antivirus etc as already stated by Tsargoth

Nah, I couldn't care less personally since I'm not the one looking for help. On the other hand I'd be a bit annoyed if somebody came up with something completely unrelated to the topic if I was the one asking. After all, nobody is asking for your humor, on the contrary OP is asking for advice to solve a problem.
My parents tought me that if I don't have anything constructive to say in a conversation I shouldn't say anything at all. But I reckon not everybody had the same kind of education I had, so again I'll just deal with it and carry on.

Personally, I wouldn't have Windows 10 on any computer that I plan to use as an audio workstation.
I have Windows 7 SP1 on all of my studio computers, but I did install Windows 10 on a laptop that I use to play around with things
on and see how it works with Windows 10.
I use AVG PC Tuneup on it and disable Windows Defender with that.
Best thing you can install on a pc running Windows 10 is a re-formatted hard drive and a fresh clean install of Windows 7.
And @Jerry Gordon thanks for the beer, but I quit drinking back around 1982.
On the other hand, if you want to slip an old hippie a nice fat doobie, that would work, lol.

Oh and.. Windows defender \ MSE can be disabled manually (real time protection) without having to kill it in MSCONFIG.

You can also specifically exclude folders and\or files

Settings > Update and Security > Windows Defender > Real time protection + Exclusions.
