I know alot of the filehosting sites have banned IPs from my country. Okay, so now we have to use a proxy. BUT, why doesnt anyone use fileserve anymore? I can still log into my account there and have been grabbing all kinds of other photoshop type stuff, WITH NO PROXY, and Im from the U.S.

Lots of content is alive on fileserve...plus the speeds are decent for free users!
rather than that I'm getting fluent in the Cyrilic alphabet while planning the downloads, really carefully.

 

You seriously thinking about doing business with a company, who shitted on the head of their customers?

They broke the contract with all their customers overnight, without any prior warning, and without any compensation afterwards.

 

People forget fast, especially when it comes to free and fast leeching...why not use Hotfile also? They were incredible nice to all the uploaders, deleting their files for them without warning. ;)

 

I was unaware. I just realize that on the other blogs and forums that cater to graphics stuffs, the fileserve links are the only ones that work for me. well, without using a proxy that is.

Fileserve!? You have to be joking. It was ok for a couple of weeks after the shit storm, now it's taking forever to download anything, no matter what the file size. It was talked about here in another thread how they implemented some asshole protocol inhibiting free downloaders. Why don't I pay for a service, you may ask? Two reasons: 1. You pay and they retain all your credit card info, very dangerous even if they don't share it, or your download history; in other words, I don't trust them. 2. Anyone who makes money off warez is a fucking cunt, PERIOD!!! This is all about sharing software, not profits. The only download site offering very fast speeds at this time is Mediafire. I read somewhere that they don't pay uploaders, so I'm assuming that's why they're not used much. What a shame. Oh, and by the way, if you upload for profit, FUCK YOU!!!

I use MediaFire, and have used Fileserve (Free & Paid) in the past -- both great file services (IMHO)

1) Not sure what problems you've experienced w/ speeds (I've never had issues) but is MUCH faster than shit like Extabit (AVOID)
2) You take a risk with every service you use (regardless if you pay or not) -- it's those that 'share' that are taking the biggest risk, not the downloaders (make sure you thank them)
3) In regards to warez for profit and all that mess -- Sure, I agree with you (its not cool selling stolen shit -- Just steal it all and share that shit) -- Fuck yeah we're thieves - FUCK YEAH !*

* Please note: I made this statement to highlight the inherent irony within the message you bring. The ability to steal (tens) thousands of dollars worth of shit from the comfort of your easy chair (a feat that likely most here wouldn't have the balls to do in the physical world - IE: walk into the store and boost the software from the shelf) has numbed you senseless.
