Really this was supposed to be entertainment. This article is related in a way. I had no editorial intentions or delusions about changing anyone's opinion. I'm just a rabble rouser by nature. I am not American but even I know or at least have a pretty fair picture of Obama's time to see that He has not done anything really far removed from what Dubya was doing, He got a telepromter in to make sure His speeches/public addresses come off smooth (But if it has a hickup it's painfully obvious that He wouldn't be anything like what is presented with a nice script crafted by His team. Oh I'm not saying Dubya grade bad at giving a good, clear speach without sodomizing the most simple parts, Some of those are just pure comedic gold), Now I could be completely wrong in thinking/saying that Obama has pretty much done more of the same as Dubya was doing but without all the "... and now, watch this drive" and other such special Bush moments where He ended up looking like a complete tit whilst trying to make Himself fit in as though he were just one of the guys whenever/wherever/whatever military, construction, disaster and so on, So forth where there would be alot of press (and oh how perfectly He managed to bury himself in less than five or ten minutes), Obama's got his brand alot sharper in that respect certainly. So I am not trying to be sarcastic asking this and I hope that You do not mind pointing out what exactly are the things that Obama has done during his two terms trying to clean up all the mess He inherited with no help? I know with so much to cover it isn't an easy one, Just a few trusty links would be cool

I do not read any newspapers because I do not trust them, I do not watch any mainstream media news unless for entertainment as I do not trust them and I do not trust the majority of the so-called "alternative" media because they are mostly heavily biased just from the other side, So I find it very difficult to find just the facts cut down the middle, Cheers and all the best

As the U.S.A. is actually a Democratic Republic, not one person voting in the general presidential election vote counts towards electing the president, only the Electoral College votes matter. If nobody showed up to vote, they would still elect a president.

From what I can tell on a global scale, the American right wing has more in commoin with the fascist and authoritarian regimes they loathe. Extreme nationalism, and extremely religious to a name a couple.

 

Obama has only done what was going to happen regardless. Legalizing gay marraige and pushing towards universal healthcare. Next step is decreminalizing drug use. America can't stay regressive forever. Other then that he's been on par with just about every other POTUS regarding domestic and foreign affairs.

 

Lol... you got in almost right... should be more like: "compared to Hillary & Bernie, Cruz, Rubio & Carson look like decent and smart guys". Trump is an idiot class all by himself. TBH, if REALLY talk about "decent" people... I think Carson & Rubio are the only 2 that meet that criteria. Cruz is a pandering, habitual liar and only looks decent when compared to the myopic Trump. However, Carson in not electable. Would have liked to see Rubio get a shot but doesn't look likely now.

 

Was your last sentence a joke? Nothing could be farther from the truth, esp on Foreign policy. O has been one of the biggest pus$ies in this are... even compared to Bill Clinton... but certainly at the opposite end of the spectrum from Reagan, and to a lesser extent, Bush 1 & 2. Reagan was a strong leader whose policies led directly to the freeing of millions of people behind the iron curtain. By contrast, Obama has continually bent over on FP issues, topped off by the atrocity and downright JOKE of the recent deal with Iran. The vast majority of Obama's FP benefits ONLY the other countries and screws the US in some way, shape or form. I hardly call that in the same ballpark as ANY other recent POTUS!

 

Quite untrue actaully... to be honest, sure there are some in the Rep party of this ilk, but the vast majority of us are (usually) reasonable people and not overly-zealous in any of the areas you mentioned... that's just how the press here likes to portray the party as a whole but it's simply not true.

Reagen made deals and alliances with Islamic groups that essientially developed into Al Queda..He also presided over the mess in Lebanon that got 240 some odd Marines killed. Bush Jr presided over the worst terrorist attack in US history which caused the death of over 3,000 American citizens. That on top of failing to catch the perpertraitor for 7 years (who ironically Obama did find) and invading a country that had nothing to do with the attack under the fallacy of ("weapons of mass destruction.)

I was being nice, in all actuality Obama is a breath of fresh air and has handled foreign policy much better then former presidents of the last few decades.
