It depends on your daw, do you have pitch bend editing in your daw midi editor ? But any way I don't see pitch bend in Thesys, I couldn't try this one. But the modulation I edit in Thesys (the last track in thesys where you can pick modulation, breath control, etc, etc all the traditionnal CC's) all appear when I edit them in Samplitude (my daw) midi editor when I export a clip. But that's because this midi editor has all this settings editable, which all midi editor don't have. Which daw do you have ?
If you want to record pitch bending on a midi clip exported from Thesys, than you have to record some pitch bending after exporting

Because the dragged midi does not have any pitch bending information.
BTW, one of my glories is that I usually do not use random ARP. It's so alluring and the user would be seduced and his or her eagerness for learning music theory will be so affected.

This is my last try of using random ARP for ever of course so consciously based on chords and scales:

the pitch bend is at the 3rd sequencer called performance somethin i just really like the sound it does and the shape of the pitch bend i think its too much of a hassle to recreate that so i really needed to know how this works.

    edit: using bitwig btw

what do u mean? kinda new to this so excuse my ignorance

I agree Arpeggiators can be destructive creatively if ones use them without knowing theory, which is why I studied it (and still am, it's endless), before using these. They are very practical and valuable tool for those like me who don't enjoy midi editors...

Let me check that Junt I'll see what happens when I export one pitch bending edited clip in my daw I'll keep you updated...

Yeah bad news for you in samplitude the pitch bend infos do appear on the clip and are transmitted to the instrument, if it doesn't happen in bitwig (I don't know this daw sorry) it means the pitch bend information is in the clip but bitwig don't transmit them to the instrument...Why and how to fix that since I don't know bitwig I cannot tell...

Foster it's not bad the MP3 you posted but you can't just stick to an arpeggio, that's for sure...

That's nice...Opening on the chords and bringing the arpeggio next, it's a nice move I like to do that, with the chords you're like suspended in time, floating, the arpeggio comes in and you start moving forward, the energy starts to flow as the rhythm evolves. Plus you can bring back the chords for the chorus, as an option for a next step.
And since you went from an accordion type of instrument for the chords to a more synth like lead for the arp which also shifts the energy, the whole combinason is actually pretty sweet, the pady bassline being the stabiliser here.
Really nice. I'll try to do something in this spirit but with thesys since it was the topic opening here, I can also throw a few chords in it, we'll see if we can make something. I have a pretty busy w-e but I'll try to post something before it ends.
