Presonus acquired by Yamaha (Steinberg) so I've heard.

Not only that,S1 will now offer Cubendo mode,where S1 transforms itself 100% into cubase 5,they couldnt afford the new algorithms for Cubase 8.5...actually they stole the AIR version,since Steinberg cant claim ownership since its registered to AIR.

In company mergers the question usually isn't what's in for the customer, I'm affraid.

Assuming this is true, it means that Yamaha just swallowed Steinberg then Presonus?

After all, Apple already did the same for Logic with all the known consequences for the Windows users...

Thats simply NOT true/ The guys who are the pioneer of Cubendo Mr "Wolfgang" himself is the guy who created Cubendo who later in the years joined Presonus to Build a brand new DAW = Studio One and now Preosnus buying Steinberg when YAMAHA is a huge company that acquired Steinberg few years ago? Doesn't go any logic there. Unless Yamaha is in deep shit and we haven't heard about it.

So that won't make it as a NEWS for today big annoucement ;-) Just stay tuned guys and you'll see the big surprises

-Console Shaper,they have also partnered with Steven Slate now.
-Improved Melodyne,you can now transpose and quantize polyphonic harmonic instruments.
-Creating tempo tracks with any reference audio.
-And a bunch of ideas borrowed from Steinberg.
Yea its a big upgrade.
