Indeed, there are so many better DAWs, cheaper, and with more features. PT is a dinosaur of DAWs. Just waiting for a meteor to strike.

But I'm not saying it's bad. I could work with it, and I did and do at times work with it. Just not on my computer. Having said that, I can work with *any DAW* and get the same results.

Hartmann Neuron VST (windows). Not only does it have crippling bugs, it also sounds terrible.

 

Windows ME! A worst POS is yet to be discovered (at least on the OS front). Microsoft brazenly (and without one shred of moral regret or integrity) unleashed this serial killer onto an unsuspecting public. Those folks at Redmond are a treacherous bunch. They NEVER apologize; let alone admit to any mistakes. Windows 10 is yet another illustration of their unrepentant arrogance!

 

Stamps.com - constantly crashes, super buggy, can't print shipping labels because of certain characters in international addresses, claims to import orders from many difference shopping carts but in reality you have to manually export orders to quick books and then export quickbooks to stamps.com. Won't send tracking number emails even though the box is checked so when you call to find out why they say, "yeah thats a bug we are working on it". You would expect the software to autoupdate when that is fixed, right? Actually, it doesn't. They don't push updates in anyway. When I asked why I was told they don't want everyone to download it at once and crash their servers.

They poor more money into support rather than the software. I'ts bandaid, after bandaid.

The worst part? It is by far the best shipping software out there.

 

Noveltech Character Plugin pissed me off to the fullest...

 

1. AIR effects bundle.... its like having more stock plugins. What a waste. Whatever DAW you use, these are just copy of your stock plugins. I prefer waves bundle over it.

2. Max 4 Live 7... cpu hog... it would be better if some fmous max4live plugins will be transferred into ableton.

pro tools, not that i have ever used it, gave up on installing it after two days

 

Roland PLUG-OUT installers: Japanese, button to swap to English is in... Japanese katakana, no VST folder detection from Registry, no target folder screen selection, forced install to C:\Program Files\VstPlugin (not compliant with Steinberg VST2 specification), dll must me moved manually.

 

Liquid notes? sipped in soup...?
