Bass, lead, rhythm need to match the key.

I agree with Threadkiller, the lead and strums are not in the same key. Once fixed, I will give it three thumbs up.

I know I know I have to get this music theory/key signature under control or else you real musical guys are gonna keep exposing my Tone Deafness

P.S. I can't even cheat with Melodyne because I don't know what to listen for. There are no shortcuts I'm gonna have to actually learn the abc's of music to progress *yes*

Thanks for the feedback cause I was wondering if it was in key.

I know where you are at the moment, you have a long way ahead of you. At this stage it is easy to give in to the temptation and start using loops, trust me this will only become an obstacle in your learning process.

Also by Key, I meant musical key and not the key signature (which I don't care about when writing my own stuff). You have to find a note that is center to your basic bassline (or guitar riff, or any other melodic riff you are basing your song on). When you do that it will be easy to know what notes work with that key and you can avoid the ones that don't work. For me, the notes come naturally in a key and I have to listen to the piece again in order to find out what key it is in (usually needed only for labeling).

The track is pretty decent. I'm too up on the rap style but the track sounds pretty good.

Question: are the guitars just sample loops?

Oh and the guitar is in the wrong key somewhere or isn't matching the bass notes in some parts. Not all but a few.
