So i got dislike because i'm also experiencing problems with vst3 plugin? Sweet. NFO doesn't contain any information about this bug and obviously doesn't give any suggestions to solve it. Dude, what is your problem?

 

i think the problem is with windows 10... many w10 user with problems.. im a w7 x64 with not a single problem from all the releases from Audioutopia ... just want to chime in...

 

w10 preventing installation of single vst3 plugin or what? All problems was solved after release of soundtoys. I got every single softube/relab/ssl duende plugin works fine in SO3 3.1.1 on win 10 x64 WITHOUT win 8 compatibility mode. Dunno what are you talking about.

funny as i am using the vst3 in cubase 8.5 right now, win 8.1, the solution was fine! no need to keep disliking all my replys, wheres your helpful solution ?

 

I had this same problems with multiple Audioutopia plugins using Studio One v3 on Windows 10. Solved all my problems by running S1v3 in Windows 8 compatibility mode. This totally works. I got this from another thread on audiosex just last week. Try it.

If that doesn't work, before I tried that I had success running all the plugins bridged (using Jbridge). Installed the 32 bit versions, Bridged them to 64 bit, scanned them, boom, worked.

If that doesn't work...I don't know what to tell you.

NFO comin with this plug indicates both VST2 and VST3, also its installer have separate VST2/VST3 checkboxes, both for x86 and x64.

 

i don't have a single problem..i think the biggest part of complain about erros or so on... are from windows 10 users that's a fact... don't know why...

for me everything is just fine.. no problems!!! and im happy

 

after all of these complaints .. there'll be no more AudioUtopiA releases .. sad world ..

 

I just tested Virtual Tape VST3 n it's working in STO3 with Compatibility mode win8. (i'm running win10prox64)
Using vst 2 and Transvst for PT12.3

 

Don't forget VST (2.x) and VST3 headers (in source code and inside BINARIES) are totally different!

Ok, this tip seems to work (by renaming .dll to .vst3), but these plugins are working in VST2 mode, not in VST3 mode, anyway!

Another tip: simply rename "REAPER.exe" to "Cubase 8.5.exe", and, miracle, your cheap DAW becomes Cubase 8.5 for only 60 bucks (even for free if you're using "related tool"). Pfffff!!!!!!!!

I confirm all of these plugins, both VST2 and VST3, are working fine on Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64. Somebody on this forum have related iLok/Pace validation issues on Windows 10 platforms (even for legit users). Be sure for C.M. I avoid this W10 crap (microsofterie, in French language, or MTGC - Microsoft The Great Circus), keeping my precious Windows 7 Pro as long as I can...

You add many traps in front of you:

- 1/ by using Windows 10 - it can't handle iLok/Pace correctly, even for legit users!
- 2/ plus by using a sort of wrapper or bridge (Transvst) to use VST/VST3 from Pro Tools 12

FYI, Virtual Tape Machines (both x64 VST2 / VST3) are working like a charm on Studio One 3 v3.1.1 (x64) and REAPER v5.11 (x64), platform is Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64 (config details in my signature)... Digital Slate VST2 plugins also are working fine from Ableton Live 9.5 x64 (for now Ableton doesn't consider VST3, but only VST2). What else?

I'm not sure it's true, I hope that you are wrong (otherwise, they're susceptible guys but I can't believe this). Okay, this team have done a fantastic stuff, and they're not responsible about compatibility problems between Windows 10 and iLok/Pace (sh1t) system. Except a bug in one of their installers (installing VST2 plugin .dll files, instead VST3, concerning Slate Digital Virtual Buss Compressors), all Slate plugins I've tested are working (all) without any problem on my system (multiple x64 DAWs on Windows 7 Pro SP1 x64).

"All these complaints".... It's about a dozen people out of all the releases who can't get stuff to work right. The problem is the people's rigs not AudioUTOPIA's work. It's like pc games. There is always a handful of people who say the game crashes all over the dev's forum yet 99% of the people are playing it no problems. It comes down to the users pc setup. You just gotta do some tweaking that's all.

Sometimes outdated device drivers, missing VCREDIST, dotnet library, PhysX API (for games), lastest OS service pack, software patches/updates and so on... Also many users don't take the required time to "RTFM", enclosed .nfo/.txt files or posts on dedicated forums...

Running "like a bull" is often the wrong way in computer science...

Be sure 99.9999% of most problems are caused by... "armchair-keyboard" interface!
