starts out a little sparse, nice dirty sounding bass tho ..what did you use for the intro bass?
really start getting into it about 1:37, like that nice thud and the perc you added, sweet soaring little pad... nice ,
More cool bass-ing at 2:37 too . I'd call it Latin Chill ? :dunno:

overall win...can't think of anything critical, .. recommended listening

The distorted bass until :35 is the only element I don't like at all. Sounds distracting to me. See how different our tastes are? :winker:
It's getting really nice after 2:30!

Dirty bass, yeah! it was intended that way... You see, it did what it was supposed to do: capture listening attention... Good thing you like the track after that. Thanks for listening!!

I like it. The concept, instrumentation, rhythm... everything.... apart from the mix.
Maybe not in your local copy but in the version that you've posted here something has pulled down the mids between 700Hz and 3.5kHz. In spite of that, it's a marvellous track. Bravo!

nice tension and intresting and unusual arangement.

    mix
i find most of your high freq content too loud in the mix (about 2,5db)
    you loose headroom with it!

@48sec the shaker thing is too loud...... by a lot. it takes over the whole song
and @the 1min mark you loose me because of it.

i would suggest turning it al the way down, and turn your speakers down (i mean low volume)
and bring it back up till you barely start to hear it.
now turn the speakers back up and examin the mix
do it with all the hats shakers and such

lastly (this will could already sound different after you do all the hats and stuff)
it seems that you highpassed to much of that funky bassline (not the sub and kick)
basslines need a little bump between 100 and 200 hz sometimes

    hope this is helpfull
    just my 2cents anyway
    keep on rockin ;)

Shure enough the shaker is high but I didn't expect that much LOL!
About the bassline and the overall high freq l will listen again.
I really appreciate your input. I will check out every point you made, if it helps my track, why not right?
    Thanks for your time!!

Really nice track! Very nice sounds. Groovy percussion. Lots of variation that doesn't tire the listener. I think the mixing needs a bit more love though, especially the bass. I think the bass has to be given more of its own space so it comes out more. I like the bass line and I would like it to hit me harder. It sounds very flat and motionless. You can also hear that it interferes and is interfered with by other frequencies, like the square wave sound that begins at 0:07. Also could use a bit more soundstage or widening. IMHO anyway. Great work!

Your feelings about the bass and bassline is shared by some, so I will def check my mix out and try to improve it.
Thanks for your kind words and helpful input.
