This thread almost makes me cringe. We have countless children and adults in the world who are dying on Christmas and are reluctant if they even get a drop of water on Xmas. They probably wouldn't know what love is because they've never had it before. Or those who gave it to them are probably dead already and rotting in the desert. I've passed by at least 5-8 hobos on the street with signs saying "Give money. Me no home" this holiday season. There's a church right down the street from my house where every xmas they provide gifts for families who are financially unstable. Every day I walk by that church during my daily 9 mile walk I take, and xmas is the day where that place is most occupied with mothers and kids who just want something for xmas. Even if it's just some candy - it's something. I've bought some toys and donated them to charities this year, because I know what it's like to live in poverty - I've been there and back many times.
On the other hand, I see people who sit surrounded by free stuff that they will never have to pay for and they say "Worst Xmas in a long time". It's one of those sights that has a drop or two of humor but for the most part just really cringeworthy. At least once every year, I get ungrateful immature morons who call me cheap because my gifts for them weren't as expensive as other people's, or it wasn't what they wanted. Even though I could have got them nothing at all, they still bitched. Now, I don't know about you. But when I was a kid, I didn't need an 'elf on a shelf' to show me manners. I had a belt on a shelf or a boot of doom to get shoved up my ass if I ever reacted to someone's gifts like that. I may have grown up in the 90's, but my parents were old school.
It goes to show not everyone has the common sense in them to be grateful for what they have. You know why there wasn't a lot on AZ this year? Because of threads like these, when you already have merely half of all Pro audio software on the market right at your fingertips - for free. What more do you need to make music? Are you a musician or just a greedy collector? You're not going to roll over, croak, and burn to death if you don't get Nexus2, UVI Falcon, or whatever. Seriously, you sound very immature so please don't ask for things that you do not need. You have water, a roof over your head, a bed to sleep in, food to eat, and air to breathe. Therefore you will survive. You're not on your deathbed so don't cry here. You won't make rewards come any quicker. I'm not insulting anyone, nor am I angry. I am just being honest and straightforward with you. I'm not here to kiss asses, nor am I afraid to be a jerk when necessary. But I'm just telling you my 2 cents and the truth about what these request posts represent. It's foolish and you sound like children. Down-vote me, dumb-vote me all you want. This will determine who can and can't handle truth.
I am forever grateful for AZ and anything I get at all. I can not and will not complain because it can always be worse. AudioZ has made many dreams of mine become reality and I owe way too much to R2R, Hexwars, AiR, Dynamics, 0RGAN1C, and so on. They don't owe you and I shit. You and I owe them plenty. So stop whining and think about what more you can do for them, rather than what more they can do for you.

For me switching to a mac was Virus.
Back then windows xp win 2000 I use to do more fixing than actually using, Count less reformatting norton could not save the day.
Thats when I read Mac do not get the virus that windows had, So I made a switch.
On a mac I gets to use the machine, and most things works by it self e.g. networking it takes time to network windows to other pc, on a mac just have to tick one tab boom its done.
also back then mac laptop had the longest battery time.
warranty all macs are warrantee by its serial number and not by owner.
BY mac in USA take to EU mac broken, apple fix it no question ask.
mac is like google.com so plain and simple wile windows is like msn.com some much crap on the main page.

There isn't anything in that comment I don't agree with wholeheartedly. But why are we going into this holy war of Mac OS X vs Windows? It all depends on what you like. It's like Christianity vs Islam, Coke vs Pepsi, Rock 'n Roll vs Rap/Hip Hop, or Cats vs Dogs. For me, I personally don't want my computer's UI to look like a little kid's messy bedroom with single lego pieces laying all over the place. I like the simplicity of OS X, but I avoid the "Crap" store at all costs. It doesn't have anything I need or want, so I never go on there at all. Instead I just use AZ for my true App store, and I think that I can get used to that just fine.

 

meanwhile, osx has 10%+ market share in the us, so it's a viable malware target now and you'll see ALOT more attacks on that platform.
apple's OSs aren't more secure than others, just have been a lot less interesting to people making money off of vulns...

Everyone wichs something, if you ask me i want Cubase Nexus every fuckin dongle protected Soft in my collection, i wanna have everything, ask me why ? because i'm human, but i prefer to keep that to my self, and i wont annoy people with it...

If it is cracked and shared it is welcomed to my collection if not i'll wait, i have faith in Humans! they always amaze me with their strong will, who knew Ilok is gonna be ever cracked ? who knew we could have Pro tools 12 for free ? who ? nobody, i had faith, and one day i did have it...

Don't be selfish, because i can be sure that there is someone out there who is trying to put smiles on our faces, so stop complaining and go make music.
