    Well done @SyNtH. Very proud of what you have presented. A dynamic, varying, atmospheric ambient sound. Well composed, immersive, cleanly mixed, crunchy, excellent dynamics. All round beautiful quality, composition and variation.

    Love the use of samples, and love the changeups of atmosphere. And love the spacey sound you have presented.

    @SyNtH. , I love all this sound effects in the background, fire crackling, screeching noises, under water sounds and more. Even if I am not sure to understand the story telling of your track(too many sounds from different universes for me), its atmosphere is attractive. Nice!:)

    Edit: after several listening I think I got it! Beautiful trip between astral and reality. :wink:

    Ive just set up my project and my audio settings for a tutorial which i wanna make exclusively for you guys, is there any method of distributing this video once ive finished it? Also are there any specific bits you would like me to go over in relation to the track? I'll be doing a voiceover describing all the stuff if that helps.

    Orite guys I'm bumping this back up a bit to let you all know I made a fail of an error when it came to the headroom requirment for the album.

    I originally sed it was -10dbfs headroom but changed it to -3dbfs, cuz I failed...for reasons... but I was in fact correct in the first place and knew I was but just confused myself...

    The correct amount of headroom for your tracks should be -10dbfs...

    @SyNtH. you dont need to worry your track sounds perfect the way it is so dw, you're all done for this album :)

    For everyone else, see the section on Ouput Format, which is Rule No.4 :)

    Okaaaay so I finally managed to get something decent going...lmao making ambient is much harder than it looks lol:

    This is still a WIP though, not finished at all and still plenty of work to do, but I like the way it turned out so thought I'd share:

    I really like it, it's a mix of a dark ambient sound and avante garde :D :D :D

    ALAS, it has finally been done. Here is my completed track for the ambient album:



    This may end up being my final track for the rest of when 2016 arrives, gnna be really busy next year so not sure if I'm going to have much time making music...

    But I love how it ended up and reaaaally feel this sound.

    Overall, it's been an absolutely fantastic experiment making ambient and seeing if I can pull off a nice atmospheric sound, it's been an awesome and very beneficial experience, but DAMN making ambient is harder than it looks lol...

    I hope you guys enjoy it and have a great coming year :)

    No bullshit, I really like this man. I was skeptical when you said you were doing ambient, but I kept it to myself :) I know your penchant for simplicity and I didn't know how that would mesh with ambient, which is often full of little subtleties.

    I don't have much of an ear for ambient stuff (I know enough to know Artic and Ned have their shit together but that's about it - and @SyNtH. is dope at pretty much everything he does, so no surprise there). At first I wasn't sure what to think, but when it all started coming together it sort of took me away with it. To the extent that I'm any judge, it's a good arrangement too - the change-ups were well timed and well executed.

    currently waiting for my 'partner in crime' to return from the holidays (no musician, just my 2nd pair of ears and taste).
