In REAPER all works perfectly. I repeat again that reaper is much more stable than other all mentioned above DAWs. Never got problems with all plug-ins I have, but I have almost all existing stuff. To me all stable DAWs are seem to be unstable in any comparison with reaper

 

Dune 2.5 crash in ableton9.5 x64.I used jbridge 1.63, The GUI of the dune couldn't display.Could you try Dune 2.5 in live x64?

 

Works here mate Ableton Live 9.5 x64 on Win 7 x64 so dont know whats happend to yours?

 

all of slate digital working here in win10 live 9.5...

but solid state logic duende native crashes live 9.5 on vst scan.
s1v3 loads then crashes when you try to add ssl eq mono to a track.
not to bothered about duende tho iv got the x86 release as back up.

Works here in Ableton 9.5 x64 / Win7x64. Not sure why you are using jBridge mate, there's 64-bit plugin?

 

I have test Dune 2.5 for you and it works! But i am on win 8.1 x64 with Live 9.5 x64

 

Hi there,

running ableton 9.5, win x64, and softube products don't appear in ableton, except Saturation Knob and Abbey Road RS127 Box.

After the bundle installation, ableton has checked them when I first launched it, during vst scan, but they didn't appear in my browser when it was opened...

Tryed to install both vst2 and 3 but it didn't change anything...

Any help ?

@Cossinelle Try running Ableton in Win 8 compatibility mode (right-click properties on the icon) Softube worked under win10 Pro here for whatever reason and showed up then.

I've just installed the bunble in another subfolder of my vstpluginsx64 folder and it's ok now ! don't know why exactly....

01- C: /Program file / Steinberg/Cubase 7 (or enother vr.) / vst3 / Delete Virtual Mix Rack.dll
02- C: /ProgramData / State Digital / Virtual Mix Rack / Delete settings xml.
03- C: /Users /Adminastor pc name / AppData / Roaming / Steinberg / Cubase7_64 /Delete Vst2xBlacklist.
04- C: /Start Cubase ..Thats All
Special Note : This problem factory is vst3 select to intall exe.Because vst3 instalation setting xml error

Ableton only supports VST2 (32/64) not VST3 so don't bother with those.

 

Ableton 9.6.2 x64/W7 does work well with Lexicon, Excalibur and Softube. I don't do Slate.
So it might be specific to some plugins from what I am reading above.

If I have trouble with plug-in errors i do this:-

1) uninstall
2) remove prefetch files
3) defrag hard drive
4) reinstall
5) if still not working I don't worry about it as there are several others which are available to us, which will do the same job.

 

Change your daw!

 

Try running Live as admin and in Windows 8 compatiblity mode, remove the VST folder for your missing plugins from your VST directory, add it again and rescan your plugins. Options > Preferences > File Folder > Rescan Plugins.

Once it finds the missing plugins you should be able to turn off compatiblity mode.

 

Literally registered just to say thanks, man. Had been trying to run Kush Electra and Clariphonic on my Win10 PC. Had them working for a while before they randomly stopped loading. Uninstalling them, reinstalling them and running Ableton in Windows 8 compatibility mode did the trick. Although I need to keep it running in Win8 compatibility mode if I want to use those two plugins. The AudioUtopia versions are a couple of years old now, so I'm guessing the latest versions are fine for Win10.

Just run your DAW as admin. That works for me (windows 10) I'm using the Slate Digital plugins from Audioutopia
