anyone else have this issue? on both hd cracked and legit, it says the aax plugin is not a valid aax plugin/ i use bluecat but loading right form the menu is something alot more convenient

edit: i read somewhere else transvst was never supposed to work with 11 and above

Make sure you follow directions and use the TransVST fixer after the VST is wrapped. Working for me on random VSTs including Waves stuff.

Just tried PT 12 for 15min... what a joke.

Need to reboot computer after PT crashed or else it won't start... need to restart PT to change latency.. won't let me go under 256 samples and I am always at 64 on any other DAW... last time I used PT was 7.4... seems like the same clumsy slow thing.

 

I have exactly the same issue. I am on Windows 8.1.

 

yes, so im not just going crazy. im not even sure if transvst was originally developed to go past pt 10.3, then bundling it was probably a mistake

YEP! Thanks! My problem was i wasnt putting the fixer exe in the SAME folder as the aax, i just left it on my desktop and dragged from there. it fixed it. Thanks!

Guys, I keep getting " [err] no input file. Press any key to continue . . ." when I try to use TransvstFIX. I can't drag aax into it. I did everything as ptpatty said. Any ideas?

 

0) do the thing like administrator or super administrator
1) CLOSE pro tools 12, when you are WRAPpEd (WRAPped-ING) or wherever/whoever VERB IS....
2) WHEN use FIXTOOL... (fixtool nedds to run as adm. to)

3) one thing, it I find necessary do. WAS deleted all old thing the wrapped from x86 folder, de paste wapped and the fixer, living ONLY and ONLY the wrapped/fixed .axx ON THE FOLDER ´´64 BIT´´, becuase when i left behind the fixer PRO TOOL dont work.
means: when you finish doing all the STEP, delete. from that and only let .AAX (wrapped/re-fixed)

ps:
on F**ck WINDWOS drag and drop thing INTO: its always THING ABOUT ADM. or SUPER adm.

Bro, few hours ago i have just given up on this Wrapper Crap, but you saved my live, Thank you very mush from my deep heart, hope you get what you want in life.

 

Pro Tools is not a good DAW the only reason Pro Tools has made it this long is because most of the pros endorse it for some reason years ago when I first started doing music I bought both Pro Tools and Cubase and I gravitated more towards Cubase because it was more intuitive and user-friendly and has better MIDI sequencer capabilities

 

I don't understand why some plugs work (I.E. Slate Digital) others (Plugin Alliance Brainworx Digital V2) open ok but the sound just go through them without any processing (meters don't even show any signal). Anyone?

 

Just use DDMF.MetaPlugin.v1.6.1.Incl.Keygen-R2R with Plugin Alliance All Bundle v3.1 Win-R2R, and ofcourse you can use jBridge.v1.6.b3.WiN along with MetaPlugin, for example the old X86 reFX Nexus 2.2...

 

Im sorry I know this is years late AF but you guys are totally misunderstanding the instructions. which is understandable because of how it is written. After you wrap the plugin in TransVST, it gets incorrectly sent to the x86 program files / common files / audio plugins folder (sorry not exact link, lazy) -- you need to move those files from the x86 version of the folder to the same folder path in the 64 bit program files folder. Paste a copy of the transvst fixer tool in the root of the plugins folder (same place u pasted the plugins)..

This part is VERY tedious because the fixer tool doesnt seem to allow batch processing which means you have to do this one by one to each plugin....
so a ".aaxplugin" file is typicallu just a FOLDER. you can click on it and open it up to reveal more files. The easiest thing to do is to have two windows with the plugins folder open in split screen so you can use the left side to easily drag the files on to the fixer tool from the right side window which u can use to click thru the folders in the .aaxplugin .... \content\x64 ... drag THAT .aaxplugin file onto the fixer tool .. it will process and leave the fixed file in a folder titled "modified" in the folder u dragged it from. just cut n paste the file into the one above it replacing the original and youre done...

(the plugin could not be made active because a AAE error was encountered
AAE error error 7054 was encountered)
really i don't know why Avid don't support VST !!!

 

Ok so far so good, but all plugins I have tried so far don't process any audio....
