    there are REAPER 5.1, Studio One 3 Pro, Mixbus 3.0 (new update build 2845 with tons of changes has been k'd these days), Bitwig Studio, Ableton Live 9.5, Samplitude/Sequoia, Sonar, PT 10HD, even FL12, and a lot of other tens of HQ DAWs
    Not enough DAWs? How much more??????
    Let's dream about DMG Audio DAW, Plugin Alliance DAW, WAVES DAW, Voxengo DAW, PSPaudioware DAW, Sonoris DAW, Reveal Sound DAW, u-he DAW, .............................................................

    So, what do you want? New features? or just another good-looking GUI for almost-the-same-tasks?

    Maschine is pattern based step sequencer with some (pretty pure) sampling options.

    How complete control will help you to record orchestra or band?

    Reading this as a thread title on the sister site gave me a little heart attack :rofl:

    Would definitely be interesting. The build in plugins would probably be top notch and the design simple yet intuitive.





    (and maybe finally a company that listenes to the complains/wishes of their customers :bleh:)

    Yeah, I agree. Fabfilter is simplicity and top-notch quality. If they wanted to jump at it, they'd do an awesome job I'm sure.

    Weeks ago I read on fabfilter forum that developers said about
    they thinking of Pro-L2 updating (gossip, thoughts..)
    Pro-Q2 new improvements (sound engine, first of all, because many people there say that they have found quantization errors in sound that weren't in Pro-Q1; phase modes improvements) and other Pro-Q2 fixes
    Saturn sound quality improvements/fixes
    People asking they about new channel strips and ff said that "it is very interesting, we'll think about it"
    and many more other plans....

    All the daw still have a long way to go to be even close to Cubase or Ableton Live they are both great production daw's and Cubase is way more superior than Pro Tools in mixing and production features so I doubt fabFilter is going to come out right away with something so awesome to change the game don't get me wrong fabFilter has create plugins

    I'm a fan of fabfilter too, but I doubt even that would get me away from ableton.
    It's not like I haven't tried other daws, I love reaper and studio one is impressive too.
    But I think live's built in instruments and effects are fairly under-rated.... And they get a fair bit of praise!
