One is a pretty aquatic journey with a little something of Vangelis(IMHO).
And the second is a wonderful contemplative wave with transcendent cycles in it.

Since the thread appeared and the project have been taking form, I've been working on alot of different ideas, and experimenting alot with sounds. im having a ton of fun and learning new stuff. and relearning old ways of doing sound even :P

exactly, if you feel like making a song, just do it... don't think about it too much. The first step is fun, then everything else comes after like making something successful or professional.

You don't need to worry about this album, just make ambient for yourself if you feel it and are motivated to... don't let a label or some type of compilation hold you back from making music you feel like making at the time...

Since I'm a noob at "production" so maybe i should keep it" internal " release..

But seriously, there is a radio show been around a long time, Music from the Hearts of Space,
or HOS, this is so called "space" music. For the aficianados, is there a difference considered
between "space" and "ambient" music? I tend to lump them together..

Ambient usually just means beat-less music with more emphasis on atmosphere and texture than rhythm and tonality or in Brian Eno's definition ""Ambient music must be able to accommodate many levels of listening attention without enforcing one in particular; it must be as ignorable as it is interesting."
Some ambient may be intended to conjure up images of space, while other may explore other geographical scenarios like deserts (like Brian Eno's "Lizard Point" or the arctic (like Biosphere & HIAs "Polar Sequences") or weird- and wonderful storytelling like The Residents old Eskimos album. The mentioned tracks/albums are all on youtube I just didn't wan't to derail this thread too much with media.

More on topic, I'm too noob for the album and haven't dabbled with ambient production before, but will probably give it a try anyways just for fun.

This is an awesome project guys and highly motivational - i see myself being pushed to get up on the horse for the ride. i'd love to participate. However, i don't know if i qualify as an active member, and would like to know. And does that refer strictly to audiosex or extends to audioz too? Thank you regardless and much inspiration to everyone involved!

and soaring strings, heart beats.. lots of nice stuff in this.... bravo man...

this project could end up with a lot of tracks or maybe a double disk release
(without the disk that is )
