    @troll 'lawyer',
There's too many of you makers of 'producer' packs.. Do you even know what a 'producer' does?

They produce songs, for artists! Not spend all day putting out the same tripe you beggar off to wannabes

These sample pack peddlers are some of the worst hypocrites on the planet.

They take an 808, sample the crap out of it, demand a lot of money for it, and then they have the audacity to outfit the whole thing with 'EULAs' sporting bold paragraphs like "If you distribute these samples without our permission you will be sued".

Right! I mean who the fuck gave them the right to sample that 808 in the 1st place? And more importantly, who gave them permission to sell what is basically a software version of a Roland TR-808, a product which is © and ® from A-Z, for personal gain? Certainly not Roland, still these scumsters have no problems lining up their pockets with money made by selling stuff which is by any definition that counts Rolands property. And these same people think that you deserve to rot in prison if you share the stuff with others for free!

Hypocrisy? Double standards? You bet your sweet ass...

And the same goes for certain plugin makers as well. I mean its one thing if KORG releases software versions of their synths, they have every right to do so. And who would seriously want to hold a grudge against some SynthEdit tinkerer who tries to create a freeware approximation of a minimoog. But taking the concepts of not one, not two, not three, but FOUR famous vintage hardware synthesizers belonging to THREE different manufacturers, trying to recreate these concepts in software as perfectly as possible including interface layouts, knobs, sliders, scales, you name it, and then selling the crap for $150 a pop while Roland, KORG and moog dont see a dime of it, well, thats quite something different. And that same guy (much like all the others like him) weeps like a little girl that dropped her lollypop when somebody is using his stuff without his generous permission to do so, i.e. without giving him money first. Suddenly it is soooo wrong to use other peoples property without permission, and everyone that does must obviously have a serious problem with morals and ethics.

    Well fuck you.

Fuck you all, you who use other peoples property to line up your pockets.

You are the true scumsters who shamelessly capitalize on the work of others, and if a filesharer deserves to shower with killers and maniacs then you ought to be there passing them the soap.

Threre, ive said it. Now im so upset again i have to download something just for the heck of it.

Damn commercialist assholes and their twisted moral standards...

I've once downloaded a drum sample pack called "Popmusic Hit Kit V3".

There are a lot of drum loops included as well.
And guess what... these drum loops are simply ripped off from records, from parts of the songs, where you can only hear the drums, like intros, for example. I could recognize lot of them immediately.

Well I doubt they received the rights to use all these and sell it.

Maybe hes just trying to get attention.

Some people do everything for a sale...

PS: One can only hope that the grammar and spelling of their 'legal rep' doesnt say anything about the quality of their samples.

I mean thats atrocious...Noah Webster must be rotating in his grave...

    ROFLMFAO

I never thought about it like that. Hm, with all the software emulation going on, tapes, tubes, filters, mixers, verbs, synths, ect., how many times have you actually heard "licensed" by the hardware manufacturer of the equipment these guys are trying to emulate.

    uh, like almost never.

    Precisely the point.

I know that Arturias moog stuff was sorta 'endorsed' by R.M., and the same apparently goes for the SEM and T.O.

This seems to be an extremely rare exception, though, and frankly i wonder how the others are getting away with this, considering that they are not doing this out of the kindness of their hearts, but ONLY to make a profit.

(And often not a bad one at that. They often charge several hundret bucks PER COPY, which means we are not talking about chump change here...)
