Bome's MIDI translator Pro 1.7.1 Windows for PC?

Has anyone got it. or is there something similar that allows multiple MIDI ports?

    Cheers

BMT 1.6 only allows 1 input

i had a pirate fro years but now its the free version

1.7.1 has multiple inputs and a built in virtual midi ports

1.6 has to be used with midi yoke as the ports and only has 1 input

i am using BMT to up the velocity of my drum pads to a bit more ooomf but i'd like to add some velocity to my keyboard too

but it only has one input on BMT 1.6

Not sure if it is helpful, but Ableton Live has a native velocity compressor plug in, I use it all the time as I have to literally hit my keyboard to get 127 out of it

    cheers bro

yeah i know what your saying i have great time on the headphones but whe i take them off its like the sound of me bashing shit up on the keyboard!

the live plugin is pretty good..... I've started to use it more lately..... also its a nice curve rather than a +64. I think i got the forte preset and turned up one of the knobs. but i wish live had default channel strips in live.

I might just stick with that.

without it I can get 127 by elbow diving off the studio chair and smashing into the keyboard.... good for pad sounds.... *no*

Almost any version of energyXT plus the free Asseca's and NicFit's plugins (google for it, google ;-) will make a very nice and powerful modular MIDI translating environment.

Then, there's the MidiFish, which can transform Midi Controller range A into range B and has a nice "Velocity Scale + Velocity Offset" function which is often easier than fine-tuning velocitry curves but still often sufficient.
This little thing has helped me a lot, and it's much simpler to set up than Bome's.
    See http://www.shawnhargreaves.com/midifish/

    And, there's MIDI Curve, another,more in-depth velocity+aftertouch+CC remapper:

    >... up the velocity of my drum pads to a bit more ooomf but i'd like to add some velocity to my keyboard too ...
I can't see why you should not be able to run multiple MIDI fish or Midi Curve's on different MIDI ports, or just use eXT

There is another modular MIDI environment "Midi Modular" from BlueHell, looks like Clavia's Nord Modular Editor, a neat piece of software, but on some machines unfortunately it throws an error message and is unusable... dunno why.
    Found under http://www.iaf.nl/Users/BlueHell/html/software/software-midimod.htm

You might also want this nice free 4x4 virtual MIDI Matrix: http://www.ntonyx.com/mm10.htm

As you can see, you're not the first one in need of some nifty MIDI tools ;-)
