It might be weird to hear such proposition from someone, who still have to sell 30 physical copies of the original Audiosexed album, but it's clear to say the first community album was a success. It got delayed several times, but we managed to finish it. Seeing some of the members responsible for the album are no longer active, before we start with another one, we'd need to replenish our "album staff".
But first whether it's worth it, would you like to see this idea meet its flowering?
I for sure do. Any genre is accepted - that's what makes it special.

I won't say I will contribute to it because otherwise it's gonna end like the last time but I am more than willing to support the project and buy it again. So I voted number 2.

Don't mind my asking, but what happened the last time? When I joined I guess the album was already in the making or maybe I got word of it too late and I wasn't involved.

I'd be glad to contribute, but I'm too stupid to finish my tracks. So if anyone is up to a hiphop or maybe trap collabo, this would be awesome. Otherwise I could also help with other stuff.

I voted for that single rule to be part of first album, dunno if it was implemented:
Your track won't be judged as far as musical quality or how well are the ideas represented. All tracks will eventually make it to the album - there's no "quality control". However you should finish the track to be as good as possible. If unsure you can always post it in Our Music section for constructive criticism, but it's optional step.

 

Actually, I was not part of this forum when the earlier album was in process. I think... I joined when it was already finished.

Anyway... If this is the case, I am 100% in. I always start the track to finish it. I have made it compulsory for me.

I am also regular for posting the finished track in "Our Music" section. I mentioned that "it will not be accepted to be part of the album" because the music I create, I feel, is not for "masses". It has sometimes unconventional taste (it can be observed from my post-mentioned in my signature-got no reviews...lol..it's OK. BTW, You were the first to like the post when I had posted my first track.) So, I thought... generally... there are high chances of rejection.

So, if I'm allowed .. I'll put my best efforts (as every musician and producer do) to make the track sound good ...

I have an idea.

The purpose/theme of the album could be "The battle against ourselves, creators".

- Plugin hoarding
- Second/triple/forever guessing
- Which DAW/mic/interface to use
- Theory and what to do with it
- What style
- etc


Everyone who finishes and delivers his song is a winner of that battle.

(please, let's not make this a 100% cinematic music album)
