In addition to the new sounds, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 also comes with an updated library of instruments from the original Miroslav Philharmonik. Fifteen years ago, Miroslav Vitous libraries were considered to be among the best in the Orchestral samples libraries (especially on Gigastudio).

Looks like we have a serious contender here that might help Vitous get back in the Orchestral samples game. Finally.

Yeah, using it inside of SampleTank would be pretty cool too. Personally, I prefer fewer VSTi's--but with more diversity and sounds per instrument.

I still use Version 1! This looks very impressive and if it sounds anywhere as lovely as version 1, we're all doing very well!!

 

Well The Violins sound as realistic as anything VST related I've ever heard.

 

I tested in the past Miroslav Philarmonik 1 with old Sampletank and I dismissed it because of it s poor sound quality.
Today after reading this post I re tested MPh1.12 with Sampletank 3.51 and it sounds much much better. So I think this MPh2, changing from 8 Gb to 55 Gb may be an interesting improvement. Thanks.

Sounds really awesome, how I'd love to use this thing. But 400 is uh...yeah too much.
Anyone know of any other really good orchestra's, kontakt libraries, etc, on the sister site preferably?
