Hey mostwest this looks like an interesting version of windows 7. I'd like to try it out! I have a new system though. I7 5820k @ 4.3ghz 16gb ddr4 memory gtx 970 graphics card. I mainly run it as a hackintosh, but i dual boot with windows too. Do you think a faster system like this would benefit from windows 7 ice? if so please pm me the link, thanks!

Well, the reason i didn't add the x86 are quite simple, because the pack was becoming to big in first place. Today 90% of the machines are running 64 bit OS, i think only netbook and old machines are still 32 bit only. May i ask you where you need to install this release. Also i didn't provide those files but you can download them directly from Microsoft sites, just google them.

Well, before you start i must warn that Windows installations are known to broke dual boot installation when the new Windows is installed. So you must be sure to be able to recover the dual boot with the OSX partition/HDD before installing this new one. Sorry but this is not an update, it could be installed over an existing Windows 7 installation, it need a new partition and fresh install. So before installing you must decided if it worth it. Win 7 Ice it's faster, but you need to decided if it worth it to install all over again.

 

I heard something about it you should try to disable Windows Update in the Services section, try it and see if it could help.

I didn't pack the x86 files for the x86 OS. You need to download them from Microsoft site.

-Sp1 Platform Update x86
-English language pack x86
