Mix & Master Beats

    I'm making EP with beats and I want to give to real sound enginier to take them to the next level. Should I mix and master the beats before sending them?

    Do you mean a mastering engineer? Then no. You should just make the best possible mix that you can (leaving around 6dB of headroom).

    If you want to have your Beats Mixed & Mastered professionally, you should:

    - leave around 6 dB Headroom
    - Mix without putting Processors (Compressors, Limiters etc) on the Master Bus!
    - If you want to achieve a certain pumping effect through, compression, just render the track as a reference
    - Make the best mix you can you and send the Stems und Your Mix out to the Engineer.

    Should I put effects only on intruments chanels no on the Master?
