If the guy just turned his desktop monitor around, he might live quite well with both systems side-by-side.
Love the curtains in front of the wall monitor, just wondering why they're not ruby red:rofl:

    To all XP users: YES!
There's an elaborate answer in the KVR forum.

PS: I really have a hard time comparing Win10 with sunshine. Really.
It's not about the core funtionality, it's about the stuff we don't want.

Windows 10 is just an excuse to avoid leaving Win XP. It is a dead OS. I know it inside out...i'm in charge of 500 computers, thousand softwares and more hardware confs
Use Win 7 or 8.1, don't update telemetry parts. And you are ready for a long time, without XP nor 10 :mates:

Makes no sense, there's three other major versions before it, if someone don't want and need to use any of them because one he is using is delivering, that should be enough of a reason.

Yeah, mine wont boot anymore :trashing:

So what, different people, different needs...

Correct term is buy for some too, so it should really make perfect sense for someone to justify that expense.

There's folks still happy on G5's, because, guess what, it's doing what they need from it, so why wouldn't XP that is still fairly used and supported be enough for others, even with few workarounds here and there, it's still not much, when it becomes, I really think people who feel benefit will upgrade not just their OS-es, machines too

On my side, i loose my time with those "workarounds" asked by other ppl  I hate this word : it works or not.

Using old software on old OS is nice to me. Who need the last Protools for tracking ?
Using new software on new OS, too.

But running new software on old OS is just called "headaches", "time lost" and "asking for troubles" in my book.
I just warned ppl because i'm more experienced in computer domain than most ppl here.
20 years of computer programming, assembly, tweaking... and total of 2000 thousands Windows computers admin for years (250 now) learn you things most ppl can't. I have already lost too many time sharing my point of view.

    Good luck ! :mates:

No Omnisphere 2 will NOT work on XP. The thread from KVR that is 5 years old and only talks about the first version of Omni not the newest version
