Slower tempo, Reggae-like offbeat, woody/marimba-like pluck leads, woodwinds, congas, etc...and palm trees/blue lagoon cover art. ;)

It's house music with a tropical feel... or just move to the Caribbean and play house music.

Proper gain staging, more dynamics, also try some tape emulation plugins like FericTDS and Ferox too, try to not have much higher frequencies/engage low pass filter and "smooth" elements out, but overall acoustic instruments tend to have some organic feel/life/soul by default opposed to your usual over processed layered synthetic sound, so you start hearing things that actually sound pleasant to the ears.

Try to sneak real world recordings into your mix, instant air/life/ambiance, find some tropical/sea/waves/wind/etc recordings and just have them blended nicely with everything, even just higher frequencies from usual recording that have actual air and randomness, gives life to everything really :trashing::chilling:
