What - and leave my comfort zone?

Downloading new stuff slows me down. I have precious little time to make music in the first place, and so much of it is spent learning tonal relationships, practicing my midi instrument, testing out how effects interact, etc. And Omnisphere is a monster. But damn that's a shiny new synth! Looks like a worthwhile time investment

in 2009 a friend of mine said i should test it, well i had it on my HDD as it was released in 2008. but i never bothered to test it.

but yes i agree, to much stuff slow down and you get nothing done, that why i work with as less plugin as i can. and so far i was really productive in the last 2 months. (thanks to R2R for helping me with that.) :dancing:

    im open for testing too.

sure it works perfect, but i have 2 browser open and i am using ableton 9 x86, dont want to upgrade to x64, so saving as much RAM as i can.

Will this new update fix the fact that at random times your multi's dont save with your project in Live 9 on win 7 64 bit? I hope so.

Sheesh. Making music on 4 GB RAM seems... well... not ideal. My laptop only has 2GB and it drives me nuts. If I have more than 4 or 5 tabs open in Chrome my memory usage is over 50% (which seems abnormal. Not sure wtf is up with this computer.) Pretty sure I'm gonna order more RAM next payday. My IT buddy who put this computer together for me stuffed four i5 cores into this sucker but no memory. It's like a sprinter with severe asthma.

i have 8GB, but i dont want to upgrade my Ableton, all is wokring smooth so far.

i sometimes leave15 tabs open for CHROME ~1.3Gb and the same for FF and then some editor i need for math, again 300MB.

well i cant add more ram, because the CPU fan is to be and covers one ram slot. :( otherwise i would go for 12GB.

Shame... although 8GB feels like plenty on my music computer. But I've gotten rid of all the visual frills and it has no internet connection so I stripped all the security stuff. Basically it's just a processor and some DAWs
