As my age grows and so it appears so do the gaps between me finding tacks that actually stimulate or move me...

So I was thinking, what's the last really good track i heard...

Its probably Madeons "Raise Your Weapon" remix of the crap (IMHO) Deadmau5 track...

Ive heard it loads of times and i still cant quite work out what's hes doing, very inventive, very melodic without resorting to huge basses and wub wub wub etc...

From a song writing perspective i loved Ed Sheeran's "A-Team" track, beautifully sung and written, bit obvious and poppy but i like that sometimes..

    Post up ya lates favs!!!

I think it shows an insight into people...song choices!

@HYEM75 you can see why Korn choose Dubstep...to strangely similar genres in there own way!

@hopemusic heavy heavy Dubstep...bit dark for me but ya know lol

First 2 posts are both dubstep!

    interesting...

Resurrection, from the new Gary Numan album "Dead Son Rising".

The rest of the album is disappointing, but I really dig this track. It makes for a perfect intro. Slow-building and sinister sounding.

Stana - Spider (Johann Stone Remix Clip)

This remix pretty much stole the release for me IMO: http://soundcloud.com/johann-stone/spider-remix-clip-1

One of my favorite producers atm

    Another would be Skream-Anticipate: http://youtu.be/TfTWjc6S6pU

I'm not the biggest dubstep head but I really dig this one...

I know the feeling, I can really relate to that *yes*

With you posting Ed Sheeran, this performance sprung to mind.

Seen the record and loop thing before but I thought he pulled it off really well.

    Enjoyed the videos guys.

And now for something completely different...

Michael Cassette has impressed me a lot with his unique sound; simplicity, emotion, euphoria, and pure are words that come to mind.

Sound of the 80's but yet so fresh. Enjoy...

@VIVIsect quite a departure from how i know him lol interesting to hear what hes doing (theres a man that knows his synths)

@thawizardofahhs what aspects of this do you like, without sounding to harsh its seemed very generic but im no expert in this genre bro

@smartlad ive heard this before and thought it was excellent...hes an all-round talented guy.

@jesups cool for posting the vid, good to hear all influences on the board, well produced by the way

@hopemusic yeah this was nice....really enjoy this type of dubstep! must be the melody/songwriting aspect...so many producers forget this!

Haha, yeah, his newer stuff is quite different from his older material. There's definitely a heavy "The Downward Spiral" era Nine Inch Nails influence. So much so that I affectionately refer to him as Nine Inch Numan.

Another recent track that really blew me away was "Vyrisus" from the new Skinny Puppy album:

I'm not a huge fan of their newer material, but this track is just amazing.
