Yes here I am with yet another S1v3 question that I couldn't find an answer for... sorry for the bother. Attempting a switch from SonarX3 so trying to iron out all these kinks. So....in the mixer view, when i click and drag an insert plugin - it automatically copies the plugin to that channel. Is there a way to simply MOVE the plugin to another channel without copying? I tried holding ALT, Ctrl, Shift...all still seem to only copy the plugin. Hopefully something simple I'm missing. Help anyone? Thanks!

 

If u want to move plugin from insert channel to another insert channel just drag and drop... it will automaticly copy that plugin.

 

so its like auto-copy is on?

 

No. It will always copy.

 

and that means the plugin has to be manually removed everytime? thats a bug!

 

It seems so because usually to copy the plug-in to another insert you would use the Alt + Click & Drag shortcut.

 

Yes, when I hover the mouse over the click drag it says "move plugin" and when I hold alt it says "copy plugin"... although they both copy. Move does not move, they both copy. Strange bug. Wasn't sure if S1 always used this feature or if it was in fact a bug.

 

Would be nice to just move it. But I see the benefit/curse.

 

I also tried it with the same result. No matter which key you hold (or not), it will be copied.

This is another (identified) Bug of the picky lady named S1.

The list of fixes (3.0.1) one month after the release of version 3 was quite long. We can probably just hope that soon a new update is available, which eliminates some of these strange faults.

 

mmm from my point of view this is more a Future Request than a bug, i just see "Add effect" when dragin effects to different channels. "Move" is for switching plugins order within the same channel...
