Is anyone having problems with FF? I have used it for years with no problems, for all things connected to this site. I have not changed anything, yet now when I try to dl anything the dl fails. Not using any form of ad or pop up blocker. Maybe it's just me... :(

I also have Safari, Chrome and Opera, but don't use these for dls as I don't like or trust them:0

Have you tried refreshing Firefox? That usually does the trick for me whenever Firefox starts acting up:

Schermata 2015-07-16 alle 14.19.41.png I'm not very experienced, but try looking in "add-ons" to see if it is inadvertently installed something

well, we don't yet know what the problem is, so finding a solution will be somewhat erratic...

I've had similar problems occasionally with downloads failing, but I suspected it was my isp causing the download to fail, turning the broadband router off for 5 minutes then restarting to give me a fresh connection (and a new ip address) usually sorted the problem, or I could download with no problems a couple of days later, which suggests the site which is sharing the file was having some problems

I've had similar problems with file hosting sites. You can try this. In Firefox, goto Options. Under Security, uncheck "Block reported attack sites" and/or "Block reported web forgeries". Just re-check them (which is what I do) once your dl completes.

if you use avast its the addon and you will have to turn it of in firefox when downloading,
if not try disable all you addons download something then check to see if its ok
them enable your addons one by one and download something each time
till you find out which one it is thats giving you the errors.
i use anonymoX most times and it seems to bypass the error
even with the avast addon on what i found to be the cause of my bad downloads

ps it could of been the last firefox update seen as you dont use addons lol

    Cool, thanks a lot!
My FF on Mac was very sluggish at scrolling the az pages. Interestingly, only az, all other sites were responsive.
Before, I had to disable all stylesheets/css by View=>Page Style=>No Style (ugly, really ;-), but the reset returned FF to a much more responsive state.
Also, with stylesheets enabled, the former big CPU hit of around 60..70% has improved significantly to a much lower 5..20%.
