I have one question about OpenSSh crack (Sonnox, Softube,etc,...), Now i'm in yosemite 10.10.3, can I update to 10.10.4 ? OpenSSh crack will work again? I will need to replace dynlib after update?

I upgraded to 10.10.4 a few days ago, completely forgot about the openssh crack.

Luckily, I opened a few of the plugins affected by this and they are opening just fine...

 

Yes, I'm running two other plugins that this crack works on in 10.10.4 without issue.

 

I can confirm all plugs that worked with my 10.10.3 install are also working with 10.10.4 with no additional work.
(I also forgot all about it before I went ahead and installed the update)

 

Hey guys I have a question wile you guys are talking on here do you have any Adobe products installed like Photoshop After Effects and do they work fine in yosemite with the crack can you open them still is what I'm asking thanks guys

 

Yeah i had and it worked with the latest fix adobe products and 10.10.4

 

Has anyone tested it in El Capitan?

Yeh its fine to in Captain, i can't believe there upgraded there OS X this fall already again Yosemite will be stuck with it flaws

 

Well they will have to upgrade to El Capitan, as apple said it will be mainly a fixed version of Yosemite. Does it work stable for you? The public beta will be out soon and I would like to know if it´s very risky or just risky to use it as main system

 

Well it's still the same senior VP in charge of this new OS X version, and he's got an extremely poor track record in terms of programming and software development...
How could you believe this shit that El Capitan is goiing to be a "fixed" version of OS X? They already announced that they would change the graphical motor (Metal) bringing up plenty of new display bugs if not worse.

Personally I would dream to switch to windows but I can't.

 

Hey just want to share my experience. I read this post and decided to give it a shot (AFTER I BACKED UP!!). I'm on version 10.3 yosemite. After upgrading to the new 10.4, MANY of my ilok openssh cracked plugs stopped working. Thankfully i backed up before i made the switch. So I have reverted bac to yosemite...where everything is smooth.

 

UPDATE: As you can´t change the rights for the system folders in EL Capitan anymore, the crack can´t be copied there anymore. If anyone knows how to do it now please post here

 

Use terminal.

Code:

sudo mv path/to/source/file path/to/target/directory

Press enter, type your admin password, hit enter again.
Pay attention to the spaces, between command and paths.

Try rootless=0 as boot argument.

Might not work anymore in the to be released final Version of el capitan.

 

Ok I found a solution for this problem, just disable the new System Integrity Protection. Here is a workaround:
Hold COMMAND-R to get to Recovery HD. Go to Utilities > Security Configuration menu. Uncheck Enforce System Integrity Protection and hit Apply Configuration button. You will get an error you can ignore, since we know about it, and when prompted, go ahead and reboot.

After you did this you will be able to edit this system files again. If you want you can put the System Integrity Protection back on afterwards. I hope this will help some of you. I´ve upgraded just yesterday, but i did´t have any problems with audio related programs so far.
