    Are these drums fat enough?

Made this from scratch, couple of layers mixed together.

Feel to free give feedback please :)

Sounds good but quite squashed to me, especially when the tom and snare hit, they have a pretty huge transient going on which makes them too harsh to hear at high volumes. Also, I'd say this is due to overcompression since the ambience is quite high IMO  But in the end, just the drumset alone means nothing, you'll need to check it in context within the song and see if it needs adjustments to blend with other elements.

Remenbering that famous producers only compress drums on mastering.
The war of the loundness became a nonsense and really non healthy for the ears.
Balance is so forgotten, but music must have contrast to achieve the expressiviness of a good Music of film...

"Fat", in comparison to what? It's just kick and snare(ish)...and it's all relative.
Add more layers, instruments, sounds and mix it all - then we can decide if they are still "fat".

Once you start adding the correct elements and they still punch through, then they are "fat enough". Also the snare is coming in a bit too early on that loop. Needs to come in a little later for that moombahton grove.

Still Dumb, wrong and not humble.

Never said that is a standard, you said. Rules are to be broken only for masters, angry robots like you must only EDM and Raps that I can do in 2 minutes.
You are a conflict guy, change you avatar!
This avatar is for peaceful people, not for ignorants that shout as dumb audiosex mates.
I can paste here all that Cat and other said about you, and despite all the love we gave to you never changed.
You need to understand that this place is to learn and help, so I really do not why you are here *no*

It's not much beat you have going but I do hear some faulty layering already. There is phase in the kickdrum and lots of high click.
Not sure what you want to achieve. But I think you may want to pick your drumsounds more carefull, and maybe try to achieve a nice beat without any processing.
I would fix this beat by adding a drumcomputer kickdrum and tweak around a bit. Mute/solo things, some eq touches, whatever is needed, just experiment and compare your beat with tracks you like. Turn of your processing first and when reaplied maybe take this down a notch by using parallel processing.

That'e either a shitty snare or a shitty reverb. The snare sounds like a basketball hitting a concrete wall or something. totally trash, i m o.

But I can hear a shitty radio friendly meaningless pop production being made with that. Overhyped high end? Yes! Fat? NO

Can you tell me at which part you hear the phase? I checked the phase and if you mean the attack disappearing after 0:06, it's just i removed the attack.

Remember downloading before some sample pack that had "Swedish House" in his name, had some nice loops worth slicing for this percussion hits, really clean and punchy ones, would go really nice with your kick, they really processed them to slam, sound almost plasticky, but that's the sound you are after, right

It's a drum sequence that u can do in like 5 minutes or something?

I don't really not shit about this sort of stuff but to me it's meaningless in wrt to what's it gonna be used for & how it gonna sit etc with the rest of the song/mix unless u just like making a 'FAT Drums' loop pack or something

    Fat enough for what exactly?

Guess I liked the kick but not the snare but to me personally what this quite represents :dunno:

Like mentioned you could replace your snare with just about anything & in the context of the song it could be perfect for whatever u need

Good luck with like the rest of it unless that's like the whole song!
