Why not, it's summer, it's boring indoors, so yeah :dancing:

If anything that you use is missing, say the word, will add it [IMG]

It seems that one have to cast a vote for both questions, so I added "Nothing Else" option for that cause *yes*

    Why is there second question?
-There's 20 suggestions limit per one *yes*

Why one need to cast a vote on both questions?
    - :dunno:

What if I use DAW that isn't on the list?
-Just say the word, I will add it [IMG]

    Why are you spamming forum?
    -I'm bored [IMG]

If I checked "nothing else...", and other guys/girls too (that don't use optional DAW's),then why there is no tracking of that... :dunno:
It would be interesting to have that data. *yes*

I use Reaper mainly, but occasionally use the mini-DAW built into Amplitube standalone.

a which one with what would be more interesting, I'm using AL because of the Real-Time MIDI harmonization M4L plugins (your bass, melody etc. lines can follow the chord progression modifications automatically without touching their MIDIs)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l9c7reHWmk

so zillions of chord progressions can be tried fast (http://fabriziopoce.com/HarmoTools.html), with FL12 ReWired(which is the best general purpose DAW for arranging) the free Articulate plugin

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4Eu8pa4DGU

is priceless in it (if u use orchestral libraries), so I'm using the Session View of AL with FL12 together (creating instruments etc. in FL, sending only the MIDIs from AL in the creative/song brainstorming phase )

I know this is a DAW poll but there is no option for "none at all". I track everything into the Tascam 2488 live, all the acoustic and electronic instruments. In the rare occurrence when I use a VST I run it thru Savihost.

Occasionally there will be a hyper-difficult keyboard part where I don't want to do dozens of takes to try to get it right. I then get out my ancient version of Cakewalk which I think was written during the Win98 era and correct flubs on the Piano Roll (yes MTC sync was around even back then).

I'm far from computer illiterate. I had 2 MIDI interfaces for my Commodore 64, moved on to an Atari ST and have custom built all my PCs ever since. I think its more of a use what you're comfortable with kind of thing. Cut my studio teeth on a 4 track Scully, appreciate the virtually no latency atmosphere and love to have a physical slider for every track under my fingers. I've tried some DAWs but always go back to the hardware. It lets me get 10X more accomplished as I'm spending my time laying down tracks instead of reading PDF manuals.

To each his/her own. Go with what works for you.

All Daw polls should include a poll for your purpose of using that daw. I can't see a mix engineer picking say FL Studio. Plus where as a lot of hip hop guys may use a combo of daws in our production Maschine or FL for creative and Logic/PT/S1 for vocals & Mixing.

Well, we can barely fit 20+ options without making a little mess here, so yeah, I guess comment section is good fit for that, not poll I know, but connected somehow :mates:

I know, that thing is awesome :break:

Ba careful what you wish, I get bored regularly and that can turn out in me spamming forum with threads that starts with "Anyone..." and 'Your...."

Yeah, guess some of us forget to actually make music more and engineer less, man, I'm more creative outside when I just have mouth to sing, whistle and hands to clap, hit and whatever, put me in front of DAW, first element in, starts Dave Pensado mode of chaining plugin after plugin until thing starts to sound worse, than back off

hey, Xsze, all audio lovers too,

it certainly is, one might not really understand why most of even the downloadable demos are somewhat offputting (meaning that those are just unable to show the real capabilities of the program). *yes*

right now in working mode on something, hopefully, in that direction, through the everything mux way.

all the best for all of us...

I produce in Ableton. I think that having access to stock plugins and/or 3rd party parameters without having to open any plugin window is the best workflow feature of any DAW in the world. Trying to do any real sound mangling NOT in Ableton feels like I have a hand tied behind my back. I know, I know.. Bitwig. But I don't have the will to learn a new DAW for what probably amounts to not that much difference.

I track in Samplitude. The take composer/revolver tracks/per-object plugins/flexible routing/super easy sidechaining makes recording vocals and the early stages of mixing a breeze.

And when I really need some editing/cleaning stuff I use Adobe Audition. Samp does that stuff too but I've used Audition for years and know it like the back of my hand.
