"Lacrimosa" the next generation of Epic Virtual Choirs. Lacrimosa is the largest choir (200 person) ever sampled and was derived from our exclusive V8P sample catalogue.
Lacrimosa was recorded in a pyramid like structure with 70 Basses, 60 Tenors, 40 Altos and 30 Sopranos. This allows the males to be equally powerful to the women - who commonly dominate the mix in epic choral scores. We will be releasing a variety of videos, demos and other facts about the library in coming days. Lacrimosa contains 3 microphone positions (Mixed, Decca, Far) and contains an insane amount of articulations, including layered True Legato, extensive sets of Multi-Vowels (allowing the choir to sing 100% realistic and fast), Staccato, Power-Marcato, Arcs, Sustains and many other elements. 17.5GB (lossless compressed from 42GB). 16.500 samples.
    Coming July 7th.

How would 400 singers or 800 singers sound like instead of using 200 singers?

"How would 400 singers or 800 singers sound like instead of using ONLY 200 singers?"

    Bigger, Better, Best.

    The bigger, the better.

    The more, the better.

You can always layer four tracks of 200. And add some voice multiplier/chorus on top to spice it up a bit.

I guess it's good to have choices. Even excessive ones. You can always ignore it.

I don't like Requiem Pro at all.

I beg to differ. I think the obviously superior number of singers would be 1337. Beat that!

I just wish they'd clean up the Requiem samples and offer it as an update.

My dream vst is to be able to type in the words and then for the choir to sing back what you've typed in

I've always got room for gospels and choirs in my songs, just not got the room in my house to fit them all in, and even if I did, am I fuck making 200 cups of coffee '0)

    Wôw, 200 singers only :woot:.

One Reason (lol) I don't really like 8Dio's product is because of their playability.
