When I saw live 9.2 final posted on az, I was thinking "lol, now I see updates here first, even as legitimate ableton customer."
So I logged into my account and there are just no updates to 9.2 available.
Am I just blind or is there a way to download it from official sources?

    @ SirSillySausage
alpha : developers release (...not yet really tested because let developers test an app is the worst ever idea)
beta : beta tester release (...beta testers are not developers...thanks god...but they are power users)
    ...no more greeks signs.

I assume that the version fraifikmushi is referring to is a beta or a RC=release candidate.

nope ableton has different view of that:

Alpha= devs and power users(you can apply for alpha-testing on the ableton page)
Beta= everybody can participate in the beta testing, you create an account on ableton.centercode.com

the new concept for beta testing seems to work better as the one for the v8, because now its possible to directly ask about any problems and the people from ableton answer on pretty much all questions in the beta forum, which i find really good. (unless somebody else already gave a good answer.)

fraifikmushi meant the final version, which are posted already and he cant find any announcements on ableton or the facebook page, that is why this question arose.

And the question still remains - is it Final or beta?

anyone having issues with older versions still working after instal of 9.2? I saw some reports at sister site, … I could definitely use the benefits of 9.2, but not going to hose 9.1.7 in the middle of a bunch of stuff if so! Definitely excited about this update though… long time coming...
