Hello,
i've downloaded and install omnisphere2 and have trouble on my hackintosh 10.10.3.
when launching the plugin there's no challenge code in the plugin.the challenge code is blank,
with the r2r and hexwars one.
any one else have this issue?

 

Had you done all the steps that Copylefter post in the hexwars release?
Seams a bad install...
Also do not update your OS if you expect that all works well, apple change things very often *yes*

 

Very true. I give only a big bullsh... on Apple. I installed the last two OSs on diferent HDs only just in case...

 

I think the problem is Your ethernet card, probably a wrong kext.Your computer-id is generated out of there. Does it appear in System report? And important , it must be registered as En0!

Exactly. Sadly when it comes to machine id based protections
hackintosh can be a problem if en0 is not properly reported.
Nothing to do, you either fix your system to report it properly,
or you will have to use DYNAMiCS release which is cracked and need no auth.
Can't guarantee it work properly though.

 

had the same problem with Omnisphere 1, it either has to do with your ethernet card not being activated right with the proper kext or my issue before was actually my graphics card. if you dont have the right kext for your graphics card it wont work either. I found that If you cant use OSX DVD Player it means theres a problem with your graphics kext also if you run graphics enabler=no then omnisphere wont work either. its really weird but do searches in tonymac and theres an answer somewhere deep in there. I cant remember correctly its been yeears. but my problem was the graphics card and not having the proper kext.

 

NVM the graphics kext was something different @copylefter was right it has to do with en0 and your ethernet card. I use to run wifi and never activated ethernet that was my issue. just run multibeast (if you went that way) and add the right ethernet kext for your motherboard

my network cards is en1 and en2.i think the problem is there.
i don't know how to rename them.

 

Try this:
System Preferences > Network
Click on the little + at the bottom left hand corner
In the drop down, select Ethernet
In the Service Name part, name it en0
Click create
Then Apply.

This will add an en0 which is what Spectrasonics (and Korg I believe) use for authorization.
Hope this gets you up and running.

 

Go to Lirary > Preferences > Sytemconfiguration and trash NetworkInterfaces.plist.
Restart.

Yes, deleting the networkinterfaces.plist if you don't have en0 is essential. Every hackintosh user should know this. It's not only the machine id but also you don't have access to the App Store or iMessage without your ethernet card being en0.
