I not sure what's worse. This guy making a request list like he's owed something or what a certain unnamed member did which was scam people to get enough money to buy what was on his shopping list. I mean both break the rules. Yet that certain unnamed member is still a member here.

Clearly people just want to take advantage of others. Either requesting things like they paid for it or ripping others off for personal gain.

Hey OP! You should just demand those programs. Post it everywhere you can and make sure whoever is reading knows that you deserve these apps. Then I'm sure the warez fairy will drop them on your hard drive

Then they really will quit for good (if that's not where we're at already). And if so, who can really complain?

I for one have more than enough software at my disposal to make music for the rest of my life. There's stuff I installed and haven't even gotten around to using yet. Anyone who likes to try out warez and is serious about music will see the hidden benefit in the absence of new plugins. Make some new songs. Finish an old one. Focus on what matters. Master the plugins you have. Do something other than hoard warez and bitch that you want more.

The really sad part is that the people who ruin it for everyone else are probably not even aware of the scene. I haven't been around long at all and I know enough not to act entitled or complain (though I never did or would have before coming to AS anyway). People just show up with dumb demands, usually bad grammar, an implacable sense of entitlement, and seemingly no inkling that there are people responsible for the release of warez.

You make a really good point.
I did a big a cull of my plugins about 3 months ago which admittedly I got as warez. And my productivity has increased along with quality.
I still like testing out new stuff just to keep abreast of what's around more than anything but I haven't put anything into regular rotation so far.
And slowly but surely I'm buying what I use the most, as I can afford it.
