I need a little help here with Kontakt (installing)

I have Kontakt 5.0.3, which i downloaded from AudioZ a loooong time ago, cracked, everything works, though I don't really have many libraries to play with, however, I've recently bought the latest update for Maschine, Maschine 2.3, and with that, came some instruments, Massive, Monark, etc, and also, about 5 Konttakt Libraries, Drum Lab, Scarbee, West Africa, The Gentleman and some more, so, when i launch up Kontakt 5, those new libraries are there, but when i try to open then I get the error message that "this was created on a newer patch version of Kontakt, please upgrade your copy to use"...

So I basically need to get a newer version of Kontakt 5, I'm actually not sure which one the libraries were created form, I'm guessing the latest, which is 5.5.0,. I downlaoded that form AudioZ, but it said no previous installation found, so I'm guessing i can't make the jump from 5.03, to 5.5.0? What version do i need to download in order to be able to upgrade to the latest version on Audioz, which is 5.5.0?

I see the demo on NI website, is version 4.2, so should I download that demo, and then install the 5.5.0 crack after that? I want to be able to use those new libraries!

So update it, this is the solution actually


That means the library that you can not open inside Kontakt requires new version, idk DrumLab but i think it requires at least 5.1 or higher.

 

i see im not the only one with this upgrade problem.. i get the same shit when updating maschine and its library

 

Well, its uncryped just because you have to update K5 to K5.5. When you have installed it, it works then. I have K5.3 and I have update to k5.5 and when you want to installed Maschine to the newest Version. Read the info. there is a way how to do it, very simple. When you want that everything goes fine with all the plugins that you have installed, there is always a dicreption how to installed it.

 

i think order is 5.0.2 - 5.0.3 - 5.1.0 - 5.x.x

 

I'm not sure about this, maybe 5.0.2 directly to 5.5.0, may work fine? (otherwise 5.0.2 > 5.1.0 > 5.2.0 > 5.3.x > 5.4.x > 5.5.0)

 

Why not just try it out? lerkjurk might be right but I´m (Im pretty sure of this) NOT!

 

PUHH..You dont need to run each update. You only need to update to the latest version (Native Instruments Kontakt 5 v5.5.0 Update).If you use cracked version you should use the one from R2R. If Update dont work because it gives an error message "can not find any existing version to update" you simply should deinstall the cracked version you have installed and reinstall it again (Maschine Installation definetely killed something crack related in your registry)..after this update will run!

If this doesnt succeed (for what reason ever) you also could install Tracers full version of v5.5.0.

 

Because internet is remove things all the time, when i see some strange infos that i will not remember, i make little notes. I can not remember which user write this, but this is info i copy for my own knowledge. (is from DEC. 2012)

"Here's the thing. You need the last unlocked kontakt 5.0.3 also. Basically install 5.0.2 upgrade to 5.0.3 and install 5.1.0 without uninstalling 5.0.3 and it'll work. If you uninstall 5.0.3 before you install 5.1.0 it will not work."

Aah 1 more ting is that 5.1.0 also had "fixed" one, you have this new fix one or first one? Maybe this is problem?

 

If u want to be completely legit can't u just download the latest 5.5 Kontakt player which should play the latest Komplete select for maschine 2.3.0

As for other ways u can just straight update like lukehh said to latest or install unlocked & update to 5.5.

You can also run legit Kontakt & run side by side extract. dll & .exe for encrypted libraries etc

Find the 5.41 & 5.42 Kontakt R2R releases for mac and install. The 5.41 version has the full installer and not just an update. After you run the 5.41 installer no need to replace the files with the crack. Go straight to installing the 5.42 update then replace the files as instructed in the r2r folder. Set The permissions and you're all set to go.

 

Okay, so i should de-install the version of Kontakt 5 that i have, and then just download and the latest version that is available on AudioZ? That makes sense, instead of updating it, I'll just uninstall the version I have and download the latest version, hopefully that'll work!

EDIT: But the 5.5.0 on audioz is only the update, so i need the actual application, so i shouldnt actually delete the one ive got, im confused...

 

That's just the problem.. I tried updating it, downlaoded the 5.5.0 update form AudioZ and it wouldn't instal, said no previous install found, so I don't know what version of Kontakt i need to update my copy to first, before i can go straight to 5.5.0..

 

I have 5.0.3, and the update straight to 5.5.0 didn't work, so going from 5.0.2 to 5.5.0 isn't going to work surely?

Maybe my last post, delete previous Kontakt version (installations) and install last version, this will probably solve your problem. If you couldn't find full version (version with last update) send pm me.

 

Okay, delete everything to do with Kontakt 5 on my mac? I'm not sure if i have the installers, i torrented it, so it'd be on my external drive not my mac, and then just straight download and install kontakt 5.5.0. I can only find the 5.5.0 update on audioz, not the full cracked version..

Okay, i have to go higher than 5.3.0. I had a componet file for Kontakt 5.3.0 on my external drive, replaced the 5.0.3 that i had with that and it came up with this message, so i gotta go higher than 5.30 in order to use those libraries that ive got. I'm thinking 5.0 maybe? I'm installing the 5.50 demo....

EDIT: While i was typing this, the kontakt 5.5.0 demo form NI website installed, and.... for some reason, it's cracked and i'm able to use my libraries... It says the copy is full, and shows the serial number, so somehow it has all worked out, and I've got 5.5.0 all instaleld and unlocked.
