Looking for a female vocalist that has the ability to record and send me your files and if possible send me some type of demo. PLEASE dont send me a demo of a song that you are trying to mimic a famous singer. I want to hear what YOU sound like and not someone you're imitating because so many people can sing like so and so but I would like to hear your voice not an imitation. First off studio5599 I know a lot of record label owners here in Detroit and I have played them some of my tracks and they like them but they are not finished because I need vocals on my best ones. You can say whatever I know whats the truth and don't hate because I know a lot of people in the electronic music industry. I would be willing to send tracks to any female that I can hear their voice and I like. I just don't want no one copying my songs and I'm not saying I am the best producer. I am simply looking for a female vocalist so I can finish these songs. If the songs sold I would of course give the vocalist a cut. I'm just hoping to find someone with skills and collaborate with her because I can't sing for shit and definitely not a woman. I thought this was a good forum for musicians but I am starting to see there are a lot of idiots on this site that would rather hate then help.

Well if I worded my question wrong then my bad and sorry but if you guys have any suggestions on how I would go about finding a female vocalist then I would greatly appreciate it but I just don't want to put my songs out there and here them five minutes later cause someone sampled them, I'm sure you can understand my fear on that particular issue. I just did not appreciate the way studio5599 came at me and well I went on a little rant. Other than that I have a lot of respect for a lot of people on this site but there seems to be more and more BS posts that have nothing to do with the topic or subject matter and some of the people talk as if they in their early teens maturity wise. Also I have had a couple people interested and if you don't believe me you can ask them but I don't want to say who they are for their own personal privacy but if they would like to share to you guys I would greatly appreciate it so these people will know I'm not bullshitting!!!

If you don't, someone else will, and.. you can't sample whole songs... so why worry?

I'm not a female vocalist but I want to know if there's even any among the member of this place.
Just incase I ever need to find one myself. This has to be one of the last places I'd think of looking, so tell me if you get one from here.

To be entirely honest I'm with the users Remix and One Reason on the idea of letting people hear your work. It might just be because I'm a DJ in the north of England and it seems here geners meen nothing, since everyone has their own way of categorising the songs into them.
For example I had some one say they wanted me to only play Motown at a charity event they'd organised. Her exact words where "Motown you know people like billy ocean and Diana Ross. things like build be a buttercup n' stuff". She's a bit of and extream example but I think you get my point.

Anyway if your so worried about your work post it in mono at a low bit rate.
something like Mono 44.1kHz 64kbps mp3
Its good enough for giving people an idea of your sound but useless for anything else.

Please tell me if there's any female singers among these people, change my view on places like this, I just can't imagine them being on a sight like this.

Honestly I have had two responses so far and have sent them the total files once we chatted and felt each other out in terms of where I wanted to go and well we shall see how they turned out. The DMM forum suggested sites like this one so I figured I would give it a shot and well you never know what you will find here on the web these days and this site is geared toured music production in all forms and I figured I would see what kind of response I would get in return and will definitely let you know how it goes. This is just a trial and error process for me and I actually have a local girl I found over the last few days and I feel that I will choose the best and then turn them into the companies that I know personally and see where it goes from there. The worst that could happen is that I get declined but thats life but the feedback I have been getting from a lot of people seem pretty positive but after listening to the song after six months of trying to find a vocalists I know I need to do some more work to the main track in question and once I finally get it mastered then it should be on and crackin. When i originally posted this I was stuck in Ky and there was only country singers around that did not fit the style of music I create so I figured I would reach out to a few of the forums I visit frequently and see how it goes!!! Will post the final mix down before and after master and you guys then can critique the hell out of it for all I care. I'm no deadmau5 or any where near that caliber yet but I feel this main track has a lot of potential from the feedback I recieved from people that actual own record labels here in Detroit!!! If this works maybe this could be a great way for us musicians to collaborate and make better music!!! Good luck and to all and don't hate until you try something!!!!!

Well, I've tried to help the guy (I'm a good girl willing to get involved...)
I took some time recording the vocals following his instructions (ever changing instructions...the key of the song...the bpm etc)
After sending several friendly emails, I'm still waiting for his answer, just expressing some degree of gratitude or acknowledging that he has received the famous recordings !!!
These are the days of the internet, people are hiding behind screens,
the quicker way to skip any protocol or manners!!!
