Hello! I'm using EEG Strawberry and I want to play a lower note but a key switch is in the middle, is there any way to delete these?

    Thanks.

Sure its a key switch in the middle of a note? Bit of a stupid design if it is unless there a valid reason. What does the keyswitch do?

Can u access the script? Normally if u can simply assign the keyswitch to a different key or move the sample range using the mapping editor.

Loads of ways u can do it, Script would be handy though.

I am not familiar with that library.

I tried to check what it does but apparently plays the same note as the lowest (so does nothing useful), the manual is not clear. I also tried to transpose those keys but I can't find where to do it in the library interface. how can I acces the script?

Not advising u to do anything but if u using unlocked kontakt access the script if not hardlocked i.e

Hit wrench icon top left hand corner, then click script editor on right side and then click edit on left under wrench icon. If it not hardlocked Bingo!

If you on legit & it password protected then tough lol!

Can't see it being an error Orange Tree not stupid.

Getting the library now will check it.

Think it will be something else.

What happens when you hit the keyswitch .ie press & hold keyswitch and play another note could be a tremolo effect or transpose or something like that.

If it just plays a note when you hit the keyswitch well that's a bit odd I guess

EDIT Just watched a quick vid & think it may be to activate an effect like chorus or strum i.e press it hold it and play a chord or note etc. Might not b though Have a go.

They are chordstoke keyswitches downstroke & upstroke however in your pic it looks like they in the wrong place LOL! They should be below the range of the chords. Will see what happens *yes*

Click in performance and then in mapping and you can change any keyswitch. So click in articulation and then Strum keys (for change these), click in little letter L and press the key you want assign for it. Or move the knob (Lol).

You can save your presets too.

(Sorry if I speak in chinesee)

Right worked out what u done *yes*

You have changed the tuning to B1 E2 A2 etc

Therefore the lowest note extends beyond the range of the keyswitch lol!

Therefore there nothing wrong with the library it works as intended.

What u could do is change the tuning back to standard ie e2 using the tuning preset knob. Then the keyswitches will be below the range of the instrument. They are intended to be upstrake downstroke keys and work fine.

You could also modify the script if possible to move the position of the keyswitches below the level of B1 but u don't really need to. Script is Hardlocked anyway and so that NOT an option in this case.

Anyway as Orange Tree so cool they give you the option to do this in the GUI :wow:

You can disable the keyswitch, move it & a load of other stuff!

In your case all u have to do is

1.) Click on the performance tab & select mapping

2.) From the second tab choose Stum keys not articulations

3.) Use the dials downstroke & upstoke to move them down a few keys i.e BELOW the range of your desired tuning in your case B1 E2 A2

4,) Go back to performance & then once again change the tuning to B1 E2 A2

Then you will be able to play the lower notes & use the strum keys!!

Nothing wrong with the library u have simply changed the tuning to overlap the strum keys without repositioning them

    Re-Read the manual.

Orange Tree probably the best there is at mapping stuff/transposing/multiscripts etc. They don't make mistakes really & 99.9% of the time it user error.

Anything u down't understand just shout. Problem solved

EDIT MAT answered b4 me so sorry for huge post lol!
